Muse - The Resistance

What's this?
The return of rock's most operatic, bombastic and grandiloquent sons.

Any good?
From the Goldfrapp-like synth swagger of first single Uprising to the so-Queen-it-hurts-but-works USoE, this is total vintage Muse. Bellamy prances through each track like a 21st century Jean Valjean, with his trademark riffs and madcap licks spouting from every compass point. It would be a brave critic to suggest that Muse have become predictable, and we're not that brave.

In five words.
Victor Hugo meets Tom Morello
