New Album Live Plans

Muse are planning to begin work on a new album later this year, frontman Matt Bellamy has said.

The singer gave a video interview to NME, which you can here, after collecting the Best British Band trophy at the Shockwaves NME Awards last night (February 23).

Asked about a new album, Bellamy said he wants the band to start recording "later in the year", before revealing he's already played some new material to drummer Dom Howard.

He also said he wants Muse to gear up live action again later this year, stating that Moscow is on his list of preferred locations.

In a previous interview with Absolute Radio, Matt mentioned the new album may have influences from Justice and DIOYY, and that he was very into the 'hard electronica' sound at the moment.
