Muse's Black Holes and Revelations managed to crack the top 10 in the US debuting at no. 9 on sales of 48,000. The debut was surprising considering their was nearly no airplay of lead US single 'Knights Of Cydonia' and publicity was muted. Hopefully, the album will continue to march forward in the weeks to come with Muse launching its US tour yesterday and hopefully some airplay for 'Knights Of Cydonia'.
Muse has its best week ever on The Billboard 200 as "Black Holes and Revelations" (Warner Bros.) debuts at No. 9 with 48,000 copies. Only one other of the group's records has even spent time on the chart: 2004's "Absolution" bowed at No. 107, although it reached No. 1 on the Heatseekers tally.
