Gaia be damned! It seems many of the acts performing at Live Earth may have to resort to hiring a private jet in order to get to the eco-awareness gig on time.
Both Damien Rice and Snow Patrol have been confirmed for the London leg of Al Gore's Live Earth extravaganza, which takes place in multiple locations on July 7.
Joining them in Wembley Stadium are Red Hot Chili Peppers, Razorlight, Keane, Duran Duran, Black Eyed Peas, Genesis, Beastie Boys, Bloc Party, Corinne Bailey Rae, David Gray, Paolo Nutini, Foo Fighters, James Blunt and John Legend.

Brit band Muse have said that they would like to perform at the event but are conscious of their carbon footprints.

Frontman Matt Bellamy recently revealed that his band are hoping to team up with Snow Patrol and other acts in Dublin so that they can all travel together by private jet.
