ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO HEADLINING READING AND LEEDS?
Dom Howard (drums):"It's going to be amazing. The best thing about playing that stage is it's the first festival we ever went to. I vividly remember seeing Rage Against The Machine headlining exactly 10 years ago and I had a feeling in the back of my mind that we'd get a chance to play it ourselves one day and we'd probably be headlining. And now we are, which is really, really special for us."
DO YOU STILL GET NERVOUS BEFORE AN EVENT LIKE THAT?
"Yeah, we all get very nervous before gigs. We yawn a lot - yawning is like a weird nervous reaction. You get the sensation of being tired but it's just nerves and then as soon as you get onstage it translates into energy which is a good thing. I think if you didn't get nervous before something like that then something's wrong."
IS THE DRUM KIT THE SAFEST PLACE TO BE IF THE BOTTLES OF PISS START FLYING?
"I'm actually more likely to get a guitar thrown in my direction rather than a clump of mud or a bottle of piss. It's not unknown at a Muse show for me to have a guitar knock me off the back of the drum riser."...
