'Before the Devil knows you're dead.' It's a really good film.

Let The Right One In and I loved it! Apparently, hollywood is already in the process of remaking it. It will be titled Let Me In. Im fairly confident it will not be nearly as good as this Swedish gem was.

I saw that a couple of weeks ago and thought it was great. I also heard that about the Hollywood remake, i can't imagine they'll capture the innocence of the film very well.

Well, obviously, it's completely edited to fuck (in a great way, imo) so that the ending is first, and it works backwards. So the first scene is actually the end, where, I forget his name, but Joe Pantaliano's character, is bringing someone to Guy's character, for him to get revenge on him for the killing of his wife. But because he doesn't remember that he's already got revenge on someone before, J.P's character keeps repeating the cycle, because it makes Guy's character feel better, so he just randomly chooses anyone who could fit the model, and sets it up for Guy to find him, and take out his revenge.
That make anymore sense, or did I just explain a part of it that you already understood? Haha.

ahh, thanks james & what exactly was going on with natalie? was she just a bitch that was using him, or was there a bit more to the story than that? and that former client & his wife was really him & his wife, right?
i think i just stopped paying attention at one point and missed a whole load of stuff, i'll have to watch it again!

I'm not actually sure if the client and his diabetic wife was Leonard and his wife or not, i thought it was real though.
As for the whole Natalie thing - she went out with Jimmy (the guy that Lenoard killed and stole his clothes and his car). He left the warehouse and having forgotten about killing him or stealing his things saw a note in his pocket to meet Natalie at the pub. Natalie was obviously very suspicious about why he was there wearing her boyfriends clothes and driving his car and thinks Jimmy might have been set up as i think she knew that he was off to meet Teddy for drugs. I think she tricks Leonard into hurting Dodd (?) for her own reasons, knowing that Leonard will do it.
Does that make sense?

Yeah, i honestly was seriously shocked i managed to follow it because i don't normally pay that much attention and end up really confused halfway through. I think another watch is in order though, i'll probably pick up a lot more second time around.

Quantum of Solace, last night. I hoped it would get better with multiple viewings, but it didn't. Wasn't any worse either, just, the same.

Can't remember what I last saw... it was probably Reservoir Dogs. My friend lent me Death Proof, Jackie Brown and Pulp Fiction though, so I'll be watching them this weekend
