Sin City.
Awesome. Just looks so brilliant, with those occasional blends of colours just flowing through the black and white, it's hard to take your eyes off it, at times.

Kill Bill vol 1.
Not quite so attention-grabbing, but still entertaining. I'm not usually one to go for those type of films, but I thought fuck it, and I'm glad I did.

Kill Bill vol 2.

Yet another example of an inferior sequel. Still entertaining, sure, but it just felt lacking in something which made vol 1 better.

Arachnophobia. Hadn't seen it since i was 4 or 5 but still managed to remember most of it. Not as scary as it was back then but still an ace film.
John Goodman is brilliant in it.

Fargo. I love that film.

My brother said he didn't get it. What? It's pretty straight in comparison to the last films we've watched together! He's hard to please. Basically, don't try aand convince him to watch it by saying it won awards or that everyone likes it, because his expectations will be infinitely high. He'll have to be blown away to really enjoy.

Fargo, Pulp Fiction and Usual Suspects were just 'alright'. Had I not mentioned beforehand how amazing people think it is, maybe he'd have been a bit more open with appreciation.

(I could put something really funny and intelligent here, but that would just be showing off.)

Vicky Barcelona, it was alright. I think I have a crush on Javier Bardem and his acting.

and I just got back from Slumdog Millionaire which I fucking loved. I think it beat Milk in being my favorite film of 2008. I will raise hell if it doesn't a tleast get Best Screenplay and Best Score (I'll go as far to say Director as well) Oscar nominations.

Thats one i really wanna see. My local cinema isn't showing it which is fucking lame. Ive heard great things about it and Danny Boyle is a brilliant director.

Gran Torino, because Valkyrie and Benjamin Button were sold out. I'm glad I did though, it was a great movie. Really disturbing, but there you have it. Not very Christmas-y, but then, none of my options were.

Also I always find Clint Eastwood movies funny because he is a total clone of my uncle. People have even stopped him on the street...
