28 Days Later, for about the millionth time (well, not quite literally). The film never gets old. In fact, I don't think I've ever appreciated it more after tonights viewing.

Sunshine.

I still enjoy it but it really is one that was 10x better in the cinema. Just because it's so brilliant visually. Other than the visuals it lacks something.. still enjoyable, just not brilliant.

Casper. It's great to see Christina Ricci not get naked.

Harry Potter 3, which is still on the tv but this is my favorite Potter film. The only flaw is obviously the script, and how the Marauder's weren't even explained.

Strange Wilderness

WHATEVER YOU DO, NEVER EVEN CONSIDER SEEING THIS MOVIE. IT WAS NOT FUNNY OR ENTERTAINING ON ANY LEVEL. IT IS SO ABSOLUTELY STUPID, THAT I THINK THERE IS NO EXPLANATION OTHER THAN THAT THE ENTIRE MOVIE ITSELF IS A CRUEL JOKE ON THE VIEWER!!!!!!!

Superbad and Le Scapahndre Et Le Papillón (The Diving Bell and Butterfly).

Superbad sucks so hard, I'm sick of seeing teenage movies with guys trying to be cool and get drunk and bang chicks. 6/10 (a low 6, it's only a 6 for some fun moments, a decent morale at the end, and for the stupidity of McLovin).

The Diving Bell and Butterfly, though, just awesome. 9/10.

Rambo nothing like a bit of sheer carnage to keep you laughing most of the night. We were actually screaming with laughter in the cinema people were not amused.

Three movies over the weekend.

3:10 to Yuma
There Will Be Blood
The Usual Suspects

All excellent. There Will Be Blood is incredible, if you see it at all make sure it's in the cinema, otherwise it won't have nearly the same impact.

3:10 to Yuma is still in cinemas for you guys? It was in like 5 or 6 months ago for us. Anyway, brilliant movie. Best western movie ive seen in a while.

Last film I saw was Rambo, which was probably one of the cheesy, violent films I've ever seen, but if you look at it as mindless fun, it's a great (if you can get past the fact Sly is the best actor in the film ).

Before that I saw Semi-Pro on the weekend, not as good as Blades of Glory, but again, take it with a pinch of salt and there's some decent laughs (mainly with the bear).

Its a fascinating voyage of pain and despair that leaves you emotionally drained and satisfied, like fucking a burning dolphin.

Into The Wild.

A very good film, you've probably all heard about it. The scene near the end where he finds there's no way of crossing the river is quite sad. It's a long film, but well worth a watch.

Had to watch BlowUp.. again, today, in film studies class.

I've gotta say, I still hate the film just as much as I did as when I posted about it here before, but it's really interesting to discuss. The imagery, the way the film is like a piece of art in a piece of art is fascinating. The film is just awful though, and to enjoy it on any level you've got to look so deep. So yeah, I know how I could enjoy it now, but it's just too much messing around to think about a film so deep everytime you watch it, so from a general viewing point of view, it's not very good..

I realise that probably makes no sense but I'm cool with that

10,000 BC

Some great visuals.

Apart from that the film sucked. Horrible story and acting.

And don't even get me started on that ending

3/10 - Purely for visuals

This is definitely a hold out for DVD release film.
