They are the best norwegian band, well they were anyways.
its such a shame that they splitted up 
This summer i went to one of their conserts and it was like Heaven! serious, havent experienced a band as good as Gåte live

I agree with musefreak, Kaizers is the best norwegian band. But Gåte were good. I've heard one of their albums, Iselilja, and I liked it. It is a shame that they split up.

They are the best norwegian band in my heart...
They play kinda erm.. i dont know what to call it, i woold say its beautiful music. Fiddle,guitar,piano,drums and Gunnhild with er amazing voice Its norwegian folkmusic mixed with rock.

 oooooooooh, sounds good!! I love it when bands mix rock (or any other genre) and throw in instruments that are foreign to that genre. It's just makes the band sound so much more original.
