Oh my god, tonight was actually amazing. Optimistic and My Iron Lung.
One of the best gigs I've ever been to, amazing performance, amazing setlist and amazing atmosphere. Top fuckin' notch.

last night was incredible, i was buzzing so much from it i hardly slept when i got home...

Whilst setlists both nights at Victoria Park were great, i think last nights (second night) was the better for me as they played more of my favourite songs, so very glad luck gave me that night! There were so many songs I could've wanted to hear, i just didn't build myself up for any, the only one I especially wanted was The Bends.. which, of course, when they played I nearly cried- the "I wanna live, breathe, I wanna be part of the human race." part is a part i've waited to sing along to live since first getting into Radiohead.

It was magnificent

yeah last night was defo a general radiohead fan crowd pleaser with cliche songs such as P.A, K.P...but the 24th had a better set list, possibly aimed at the more die hard fans.

You got some nerve, coming here.

I hate to agree with Barnaby, but the fact is, hes right.

absolutely, but as my first time seeing them I was hoping they would avoid doing the obscure songs and rarities so I could hear a lot of songs live that are kinda more of the hits.

Truth is, with both nights, they actually created a balanced time for fans I think

the 2nd night was better imo. They had Myxomatosis (which I'm a big fan of), Optomistic, My Iron Lung, No Suprises etc, but like some of you said the 1st night was more aimed at the hardcore fans.

^ I just realised yeah, no Pyramid Song at tonight's gig!

I didn't really notice. Looking back, I disappointed that Just and Pyramid Song didn't come up. But I reckon Lucky, 2+2=5, My Iron Lung, The Bends, Karma Polica and No Surprises compensated for it easily!

And everyone singing Karma Police before they came back on was an pwnering moment.

(I could put something really funny and intelligent here, but that would just be showing off.)

was just going through the gigs...

comparing them (by all means this is my view only) the tracks that were diferent each night

24th / 25th

Pyramid song > Lucky

The Gloaming - Myxomatosis

Dollars and cents < No suprises

Just > Optimistic

Climbing up the walls > House of cards

How to disapear completely > the bends

Airbag - My Iron Lung

Planet Telex > karma Police

The Tourist > go slowly

Cymbal rush < 2+2=5

You and whose army - Paranoid android (cant compare so diferent both awesome)

Still liking the 24th set more hmmm.....call me crazy but yeah i think its a stronger set

Why are you trying to convince people that the first night was better? They were completely different setlists, one night was set out on being quite chilled and the other was set out on being more rocky. You can't really compare them, they were both amazing nights. The performance was better last night and the atmosphere was better, but I still enjoyed the first night.

I just find it difficult to compare them when you weren't at both. The atmosphere was far more relaxed on tuesday, whilst the atmosphere last night was buzzing. The performances were completely different as well so it's too difficult to compare.

no your right, but ive seen all of the songs they played the second night before, (they are also very common songs to see played) except No surprises..the first night fortunately had loads of songs i havnt seen before...which was why i said my view only that it was better... i was just bored at work and my mind set itself to idley find some sort of meaning in why first nights are turning out to be better for me recently..

maybe i should save money and just go to first night gigs from now on...? the fact that i shared it with the forum is completely beyond me....like i said boredom

One thing I noticed while there...Ed is massive!

EDIT: Looked it up, and I'm surprised to find that apart from Ed, I'm taller than all of them and I'm hardly very tall anyway...
