So it means he'll play Survival in standard tuning. Or with the E string tuned to A?
EDIT:
Sooooooo, after seeing the performance it looks like he has his first 'normal' guitar without any mindfucking effects or something?

So, it's revealed to be carbon.

I quite like it, although the volume/tone knobs are a bit out of style compared to the whole thing. More important, why does he want a simple guitar like this? Just for the Olympics or Survival?
Haha, or maybe because of all the songs or T2L are 'simple' too he thought he'd get himself a simple guitar.

I guess he'll be tuning that low E all the way down to drop Ab for Survival. I'm sure the Olympics performance guitar parts were mimed for the most part so maybe he didn't need a seven string.

The Delorian he used at reading had the new MB2 pickups, and now koass pad, which is why stockholm syndrome sounded so bad ass, because of the tone.
When you put a kaoss pad into a guitar, your taking about wood which adds to the tone.
so.......
looks like he is more about tone on this tour, which is good, cos the kaoss guitars sucked balls

The hell with the 7-string guitars.
That new one for Supremacy seems to be in the Citizen Erased tuning but for Survival he used a pretty similar guitar but it had the 7th string in Ab and the others seemed to be in standard 6-string tuning (or a half-tone down) 'cause he played the riff as everyone plays is on a 6-string. It's pretty difficult to play that riff with the Citizen Erased tuning, already tried and used Guitar Pro to find more methods and none looked probable (specially looking at how he plays it).

Watching carefully the show at Jools Holland, it seems that Supremacy is played with a new 7-string guitar. It seems to be a gloss black guitar instead of the green-glittered black 7-string guitar. It could be that the gloss black one wasn't finished yet when the E-Werk show was and the techs retuned the glitter black from the Double A tuning of Supremacy and Citizen Erased to the Standard+Ab of Survival (since one was the first and the other one was the last song in the setlist, they had plenty of time). Since Supremacy was recorded with the 7-string Alloy, that helps the theory of the gloss black being unfinished by the show in Cologne.

Think i spotted another new manson last night. For New Born he used a dark red (prs's Black Cherry style) kaoss guitar, which i haven't seen before

Maybe it was http://musewiki.org/Manson_Red_Carbon and it looked darker because of lighting?

Yeah I guess it was that one. Didn't know he had a darker red one though!
Does anyone know how his effects are activated live? Is his guitar tech pressing some presets? I saw he still has his whammy and a large board with knobs but he barely touches it.
