Quote name :
Do people actually think bands put hidden messages in their songs when played backwards? That`s bloody nonsense.
You hear what you want to hear I guess.
It has been used by ELO, Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa, "Weird Al" Yankovic, and some others intentionally, more often though it is unintentional.

I listened to 4'33 backwards a few months ago. I say a few months ago, it caused the universe to collapse in on itself, so I ended up having to fly the Pandorica into the TARDIS explosion so that I could restart the universe.

During the backwards masking craze of the 80's, my friends and I used to manually wind our LP's backwards in hopes of hearing all the lurid suggestions the artists were supposedly inserting into our impressionable young minds.
The most popular rumor we'd heard was that "Another One Bites the Dust" played backwards said, "It's fun to smoke marijuana." But to the best of my memory, what it actually said was "Ih bun da soke mawanana."
