There'll be mini-replicas of the towers and stadium pyramid stage too from The Resistance Tour - the towers will be able to move up and down and display images, whereas the pyramid stage will be complete with lights and an elephant lift with Matt in his signature LED suit from the stadium tour

If you knew anything about our culture and our ability to be "outraged" by any form of controversy, you'd know that the BBC don't just make things up - certainly not something so blatant - heads would roll otherwise!
If the BBC are claiming they're playing a new track either Wednesday or Thursday, then they're almost definitely playing the track over the next two days.
"Nothing official" indeed.
Like how they promised to play the Reading festival in full?

Is it the single or just the premiere of the song? Because it seems unlikely that we'll have a single tomorrow. But hearing the song for the first time doesn't sound so unlikely.

It's just the premiere of the song. People thinking there'll then be a single release the day after are mad. There'd have been way more promotion if that was the case.

agreed.
if they wanted to release a song for people to have a listen to the new album, they'd put it on online.
if they wanted to promote the song/album, they'd do it properly and not out of nowhere like this (still no official word!).
if it was to do with the olympics, then there would be MASSIVE promotion from the organisation and certainly not like this IMO!
conclusion: i have no idea what to make of this lol
