So there was a 9am presale for some venues then? I just checked by rejection mails again, and neither had any kind of pre-sale link in them.

I managed to get two for Glasgow, but missed out on London.

I would also echo the OP and encourage everyone not to use ViaGogo or similar. After the C4 documentary a while back, I would rather never see a gig again than use them.

I eventually got my 'unsuccessful' email with the pre-sale link and managed to get tickets to Manchester . . .but what a palaver - completely stressful few days

I got my Brum ticket in the presale so I'm happy, they usually release more tickets nearer the time for those that missed out.

I guess splitting it all into three streams lessens the burden on websites and telephone lines on general sale time.

I think the 9am presale was very very limited though. I didn't have any problems with websites being slow or anything, it was just simply, by the time i had put my card details in (9:01), evertying had sold out. It was a useless addition.

I think I agree with the paid fan club. Might put touts off, but then again, if they are making £100 a ticket by selling them on, £30 membership fee wouldn't be too much of a disincentive.

I'm still a ticket IDing fan. And also, make arenas bigger!

Or just play more venues

There are two nine days gaps in the tour schedule. That is something no arena tour can afford. Once you have the production running it is unthinkable to stop for 9 days after Birmingham and tell your 50+ touring staff, "see you in Munich". I am sure there will be more UK dates + Dublin/Belfast.

It's the first time i have a seating ticket. Do people usually stand on their seating place during the concert? I hope so, because sitting seams boring...

I had seated tickets in Manchester once and it was actually really good! You could stand as much as you liked, and enjoy the "whole" show without having to think about breathing in the scrum at the front of standing lol.

This is what I'm worried about too... sitting at a Muse gig is not something I ever thought I'd do :P

I always get seated tickets when I go with the Mrs and we always stand up in the seats. Still doesn't beat standing but it's not as bad as you'd think.

I could only get seated tickets at Liverpool on last tour. The guy behind us kept asking us to sit down, so it really depends who you get around you. Having to sit through the set ruined the experience for me. Luckily I managed to get Birmingham standing tickets for this tour!

We had seated tickets at both 02 gigs on the last tour, we could stand up but we were near the aisle and you wouldn't BELIEVE how many people were traipsing up and down it, from the very moment the gig began. Some had their coats on as if they were leaving in disgust, some just couldn't go 90 minutes without a drink and only realised this once the band came on. It was really annoying and distracting

I managaed to get standing at Manchester, and seemingly had no problems in the presale from the link on the failed email from the ballot.

Does sound like a pain for eveyone though... I too am a fan of ID ticketing, I'm sure they introduced it for Glastonbury a few years back (I've never been to Glasto) I dont know if it worked or not though???

A guy told me and my friends to sit down at my first and only Muse gig, and we just kept jumping. He got kinda frustrated so he told the security guard, and security said there was nothing he could do about it because we're allowed to stand. So we jumped the rest of the gig and he suffered. I paid good money to go see a show, I'm not letting anyone ruin it for me.

I had to sit after being sold a fake standing ticket at RAH. Sitting did kind of ruin what was otherwise an incredible gig. I stood up when they played Fury only to get baffled and disgusted looks from people around me...so I sat back down and just sang my heart out.

I would urge people to get an O2 sim just for events like this. I got 4 standing tickets for Saturday at 10am through 'O2 Priority Tickets' with no problems and a VERY slow internet connection of 1.8 MB/s.
