But you'd know who were touts. 1. Their signup date and 2. Their interaction on the board.

Tickets for members with a minimum number of posts i.e. REAL FANS

Not to be funny but I do class myself as a 'real fan' yet my post limit is rather low despite being signed up to the website for a number of years now. Generally I tend to lurk more on forums than post, mainly due to the fact I have very little time to actually post and keep up with threads usually. I'd be very annoyed that I couldn't get a fan sale ticket because I don't post in a forum that much.

Perhaps doing it based on 'sign up date' might be better if this were to be brought in, with the first choice of tickets going to those fans that signed up the longest time ago, then once those tickets have been allocated move on to the next set of members.

Edit - Also why does my post limit never actually rise? It was on 11 posts a couple of days ago yet I've posted numerous times the past couple of days

Posting in news threads doesn't count towards your forum posts. You need to post in the actual forum to up your post count.

Lol I approve of this idea. But it wouldn't be very fair.

The problem being I have to get tickets for block 212, as that's where two of my friends who were lucky enough to get tickets are gonna be. If it were just tickets for anywhere then I would gladly wait. I'm in a bit of a race against time to get those tickets though.

Oh. Then I'd probably do that too if it wasn't like, twice the normal price.

I can't believe Muse sing about Fat Cats and then charge £125 for 2 tickets, I still bought 2 but I hope I get a free T - Shirt or a couple of Beers.

This will be about the 17th time I've seen Muse and obviously they're fantastic live, but I still can't see how they can justify the price? I Saw U2 for less than that admittedly in 2009..

Muse should do loyalty cards - go and see them so many times and you get a free ticket

This would be awesome. The Manchester gig will be my 7th time in 7 years, that's surely worth at least a free ticket/7 beers :P

This'll be my 16th time, 17th too if I keep both tickets I've got. Surely I deserve a free gig, and much beer!

Someone said above that they've been charged over £70 for standing at Birmingham, which is weird. I've bought a standing ticket there and been charged £66.50. Does the price change depending on who you buy them through? I got pre-sale tickets through the link.

I wouldn't be surprised if See tickets or Ticketmaster added another service charge.

I bought mine from Aloud.com and was charged £54.50 for a seated ticket at Manchester. Shame they had no standing, it's a bit weird to sell ALL the standing tickets in the presales

£70 is ridiculous, that's more than I spend on gigs in an average year.

Did anyone else have the issue that once they'd checked all the sites for standing, realised there was none and reluctantly gone for seating, there weren't actually any good seats left? I'm not exactly thrilled with where I am and am starting to doubt if it was worth it...

Has anyone noticed that for 2nd date O2 the 'sold out' has changed to 'contact venue for tickets'. ALso tried contacting the O2, to find out it is basically ticketmaster, which has sold out.

I don't understand why 'contact venue for tickets' has been placed there, any thoughts?
My thought is that there is a massive troll working at seetickets who is in change of the displayed messages.

According to gigs and tours, the 26th has sold out.

NEC tickets still available though.

On the last tour some fans managed to get tickets by phoning after they had sold out, I'm guessing some tickets come back up for sale due to payments being rejected etc.

mine was £70 in total, i had to pay £5.50 for just post!!!! no option to contiune, also had to pay for pre-sale/book fee???

You would think the Band would have a 'political' say over the label on ticket prices for the fans. If they give the difference to charity and stated, i wouldnt have a problem :/

the 2nd Law = Make the Rich, Richer! (jk)

my rant is over now lol :P

They were probably more expensive in 2009 already? The price for a Dutch ticket also went up with almost €15 since 2009.
But it's kind of ridiculous how much more expensive the UK tickets are, yeah. And the fact that there's no e-ticket option makes it even more expensive because you have to pay for shipping too.
