How can anyone worry about a Muse album?

Exhibit A:

Great album,
Exhibit B please
|
|
|
Well I thought it was a shocking album. Pretty flat. Each to their own.

This could go on for quite a while.

Even if everything they had ever released was absolutely perfect I'd still be worried that the next release wouldn't be.

You have to be new here with all of your enthusiasm.

This is win.
I think when he was talking about Muse getting 'huge" it could be that their sound has expanded more, they sound like an even bigger band in terms of instrumentation and whatnot.
I could be wrong though.

But then he wouldn't have said that they were 'about' to get even more huge? He would have said that they had already gotten huger.
I think it means he heard something that he thinks a lot of people in the world are going to like.

No, I'm just listening to the music instead of listening to the sound...
Musically they're the best band out there at the moment, and they've never made one album song that wasn't musically genious, yet I understand why you wouldn't like a song like NSC or Undisclosed Desires, but THEY ARE very good.

Those songs sound as flat as IKEA furniture. They are shoddy musically.
EDIT: not those songs specifically but TR era songs. The sound is also just as important as the musicality of the songs produced.

I really hope that by 'huge', he means Queen-isms, ballads and over-orchestration...
...because that's definitely what's missing from Muse's recent efforts.
|
|
|
I hope they've drastically changed their sound. I want to listen to the lead single and have to listen again just to make sure it's actually Muse.

Praise from a member of Razorlight does not excite me.

Joe, your occupation is grammatically incorrect.
Yours sincerely,

You've just confirmed what I said about being new to the game.

Since people are analysing the tweet: I like the hidden deniability clause built into it:
huge band about to get even more huge methinks ..... I already hear "I could be wrong, I could be wrong" going somewhere in the background.

When he says "Bigger" he could just mean they've started wearing high heels

why the hell is everybody complaining in advance? i'm sure it's gonna be a logical consequence of muses way, but we can't really say in which way before we listened to the entire album...
of course we can't expect the raw power of showbiz ever again. and of course oos was "the" muse album (although i needed several turns of the disc to see/hear this myself). but i couldn't say any of the following albums was lame or flat or whatever some people call it...
they were all typical muse in their own way and i'm sure, there will be another one.
(for it will not be an electro or dub step album :-)
so: keep calm everybody :-)
