Pre-tour? I'm pretty sure that London/Paris/Bologna/Madrid is part of the tour.
And I really really hope they drop Resistance.

I'd imagine these shows would be pre-tour seeing as they're said to be before the album's release. Like Teignmouth in 2009. I'd be kinda surprised if it was part of the actual tour.
Also Resistance was one of the few songs that was actually good from that album.

Hm? The album is going to be released in September, on the 17th probably. These shows are in October/November.

The album's September? I thought it was November, with these shows being in October. Oh well then.

Resistance
Uprising
Starlight
Map of the Problematique
Knights of Cydonia
Stockholm Syndrome
Butterflies and Hurricanes
Time Is Running Out
Plug in Baby
Hyper Music
Sunburn
Muscle Museum
+ six new songs
I'd be happy with that setlist for these pre-tour shows.
Absolutely.... I can see Muscle Museum and Hyper Music being played!

no there wont be anything from showbiz or earlier.. not unless the band decide to travel back in time

Well, let's hope Matt has a crack at Showbiz (the song) in their gig in space -- that G# would surely conjure up a wormhole, or at least fracture space and time generally. Time-travel may not be so far-fetched. . .
Or worse . . . it summons Cthulhu. Although if South Park is anything to go by (it always is), he's just a slightly wetter Totoro. Anyway, yeah -- Muse 'n' that.

Whats more likely is that they do an entire set of radiohead covers ;)

Radiohead jokes are so old and just so tiring now

I spoke to Matt today and he told me that the band were going to call the album Atheistisum.*
*when I say I spoke to Matt, I was actually speaking to my friend Tom.**
**when I say my friend Tom, I didn't speak to anyone. I don't have any friends.
You and the guy above you just sound jealous.
I met Matt in Exeter (pics on my profile before you think I meant my friend Tom) and I asked him about doing a Devon gig and he said that they've actually been thinking about doing a nice homecoming gig and joked that it'd nice to just only have people from Devon to be allowed, but that would be impossible. I made a post about this on Muselive so it's here somewhere.
This was exactly one year before Seaside Rendezvous, and a long time before any even slightly official information was released. Don't just disregard what he tells his fans. Get over it.

I know right?
I just met Matt, and he told me they've written a screamo song, entitled "Sit the fuck down", inspired by Dom's hatred of standing up. (Also apparently why he became a drummer, according to Matt.)
He described it as a "really deep song about the complication of chairs."
Seriously though, I think a lot of people don't trust people other than the band when it comes to things like this, because official confirmation is 100% more certain than unofficial. not because they're jealous other people have met Matt Bellamy.

I REALLY need these gigs to happen! It's been too long since my last Muse gig! I don't even care if they don't play any new songs. If they play the gigs before the new album, which would only make sense if it was intended as a 'preview' gig like the Shep Bush '06 gig before BH&R, then we'd hear plenty of new tracks from the album. But if not, I'd still be thrilled to see them live. C'moooon!
PS - Black Heart is a shite title.
