Since last night, every time I come on the site and then switch page from anything to anything, there's a new pop-up type advert that creeps up from the bottom of my screen and hovers around until I click to close it. I thought it seemed a bit odd as it's one of those fairly invasive ones that follows you around as you look about whatever page you're on, and didn't think that muselive would go for that sort of thing, but decided just to ignore. But anyway, my Avast anti-virus software has started going a little bit mad every time I visit the site now as well with a big red warning coming up informing me that some sort of "threat" has been "detected" on the site too. I was wondering if all this was just me or if other people have been getting anything similar too?
Edit: since I just posted that, that thing is now happened when you look at text on a website and key words (pretty random) are highlighted in blue, with seperate minature advert popping up from them if you roll the mouse over them. This is all getting quite weird... thinking about it, is it perhaps most likely that I've got some sort of virus on my computer? :-/ It's just it's only happening on Muselive...

We were kicked out of adsense because of some 'adult' content on our forums, so we're trialling new networks. Let us know if you know of any we could use which aren't as invasive.

On that note, I paid up for a 12 month subscription in Feburary and nothing has changed. I can still see the ads and don't have a gold name.

Could you send me your subscription ID and I'll take a look

Could you point me in the direction of the adult content? The thread dedicated to Cheryl's bosom is getting stale.

It's not so much the advert that's the problem for me, it's how since this started there's something about it which my antivirus doesn't like the look of, it's just a little disconcerting...

The blue word highlights are also super annoying. That sucks about getting kicked off the previous advertiser though.

if necessary re-install ad-block after double checking your settings, default installation usually works okay
