Okay. I decided to change the rules a bit. Any album getting multiple votes will make the list no matter how many points they have. This does mean a few albums will make the list despite having less points than albums which don't make the list. In total 34 albums got multiple votes. To make it a nice 35 I'll add in an "editor's choice" award which gets a spot on the list.
In cases of a tie-break, the album with the most people voting for it wins. If it's still undecided, the album with the highest ranking on any one list will win. So if 2 albums each have 10 points and 2 votes. Then if one album has a #4 and a #9 vote, it will beat an album with a #5 and a #7 vote. This was enough to settle all tie-breakers.

I thought Cage The Elephant's album this year was pretty disappointing. I loved their first album, but Thank You Happy Birthday was just missing something. I really didn't like it.
