I always wonder why these mentalists feel the need to take as many people with them as possible. What actually goes through their head when they're chucking a grenade at a crowd of civilians?

Unbelievable.
I would guess it'd be like a "if I have to pay, so will others" sort of mentality, or perhaps revenge or maybe even wanting a place in history. Quite tragic to hear.
