I registered for this site in 2007 only learning about Muse a year earlier when my roommate in college at Purdue University showed me a video of Stockholm Syndrome live. This one of the best songs I've ever seen live (on Youtube) and that's even when I was getting into Rage Against the Machine live bootlegs, etc. Then I of course came to the realization that like RATM, Muse was getting to huge to ever think they would come to a little cornfield in Indiana and thus I joined Muselive (along with equivalent sites for RATM) to check out fan bootlegs of concerts and witness the evolution of setlists, etc.
Then LA Rising was announced that paired my two fav live bands together and I was daydreaming what that would be like to go too. Then I got a job at the Verizon Wireless Music Center in Noblesville and saw that I was scheduled to work Muse! I did a double take at my schedule and thanked my supe for the perfect day I knew it was going to be!
I came to work that day and was in VIP parking and got all of my friends in for free along with my roommate from 2006 that showed me SS live for the first time and his new wife! My friends snuck up to the pit and I was in the pavillion with my roommate Moto and they had an open seat next to them so it was perfect!
The fact then came to mind that they were retiring the catalouge of Origin of Symmetry and knew they were practicing those songs for Reading and Leads. They had just come from LA Rising 5 days earlier and with not many songs played from OOS on that set! So they go from a 50,000+crowd to a cornfield in Indiana less then 10,000 people, and those people were there to watch and enjoy the show, it was very intimate. So here is the setlist they played and I would like you to tell me what you think of it! It was really the perfect mix of old and new with a few exceptions but amazing nonetheless.

Least to say the manipulations he did with his guitar and all of the live theatrics I've come to expect from Muse were all in this one show! I'd like to think they were in rare form live because of how intimate (<10000 for Muse lol) the venue is and how many fans there were. With the Rage riffs included in the show and Plug in Baby I can honestly say I could not of asked for more. Oh and I was getting paid for it as well, gotta love paid breaks! Best concert of my life! So far my list includes:
1. Muse
2. Foo Fighters
3. Red Hot Chili Peppers
4. Them Crooked Vultures
5. Blink 182
Can't wait for RATM to come then my life is complete!
Jameson, I love youuuuuuu!!!!
