Newton Abbott Demo was good. They sold out after the Muse EP

Nah, Muse EP was overproduced, they ruined Coma.

They sold out the moment they changed their name to Muse

Basically having a guitarist in the band is an instant sellout, Matt shouldn't have joined.

Didn't Chris used to be a guitarist in another band? I know he played drums but I think he played guitar somewhere.

Shit... Then it goes back even further than we thought.
The band was doomed before they even fucking formed.

I think chris sold out from the beginning, Playing guitar and drums but choosing bass instead just so he would be in the band.

So it was Chris? Of course, it's always the one you'd least expect!

If by 'soft rock' they mean 'Map of your Head' or 'Shine' then by all means 'soften up', but I still crave some brutality from Muse, could not take a whole album of it. They need to remember that they are a ROCK band (or should be).
We all know the the new Muse album will probably go something like:
Synthy Opener,
Catchy Single
Good on first listen but fast becomes dull and overplayed
Something 'different' with strange name.
Something Shockingly bad with even stranger name
Sentimental, hands in the air, Radio Gaga style, bums on seats Stadium filler
Staple rocker, solid but a tad predictable.
Album picking up again, good song.
Odd but pretty good
Marmite song
Ambitious crazy long thing
Some fans love it, some hate, most remain indifferent.
Meanwhile, we all continue to await the day that Muse write something 'as good as Origin'
And the day will never come......
But perhaps if it does, then it will have 1 of two outcomes
A: they try to make Origin II, and just seem like they're forcing it-BAD
B: They DO make Origin II, and fans complain that theyre not going anywhere with their music, going backwards and starting over again.
And nobody make the obligatory Exo part III joke about starting over again.

PLEASE i bet it will be soft like a feather against my ear clitoris. slowly, against my will, it will tease me into a shaking, panting, sweating sonic orgasm. then i will develop stockholm syndrome and be rebirthed into a flaming muse fan and the victim of an abusive relationship that makes me want to get myself off just by thinking of the lead singer.
And that is what I think will happen.

Wasn't Rocket Baby Dolls the first name for Muse (as the first band with all 3 current members)?

Carnage Mayhem is too mainstream. Go porn-inspired band names!

From a video I saw on YouTube after trying to find out what Rocket Baby Dolls really was, I think it's a documentary on fetishes rather than a straight up porn.

It's lacking an original source, but...
http://www.musewiki.org/Rocket_Baby_Dolls The name itself came from a Japanese pornographic film. The film is an independent, underground animated porn film or "Hentai". The plot revolves around a group of girls who have supernatural abilities. The girls use these abilities to combat evil monsters attacking Tokyo. However, instead of fighting conventionally the girls "love" the monsters to death.

If you read the user comment, he mentions it came out around the same time the name Rocket Baby Dolls came around. Upon looking up the movie it does confirm what the video shows. I was never able to find anything to confirm the MuseWiki post.
Also... I don't know why I'm so serious about finding the source of this. Doesn't really matter though, this thread has been interestingly off topic for a good page now.

Well, if were off topic.. it's time for me to rant about how the "As always, take with a pinch of salt." really annoys me and makes me want to hit something every time I see it. It's to proper.. an odd feeling :x
