Well.. Now Gaddafi, Hussein and Bin Laden are all dead... Maybe the military budget can be reduced?

Apparently Romney could well beat Obama if he gets nominated, but I cannot find a source. Anyone?

I heard otherwise, obama is ahead 1v1 against the top republican candidates today
|
|
|
I wouldn't mind if Romney won. It'd give me four years of shit to complain about, and Obama's not really doing much anyway so it's not like Americans will notice much difference.

hell no i dont want romney
i would rather have Jon Huntsman.
if it was Huntsman vs. obama, id vote him.
obama vs. anyone else, i vote obama at this point

Huntsman is way to the left of the field socially, but he is fiscally conservative just like the rest of them.
|
|

Meh, I'd say hes pretty moderate. Which is what i like about him. To be honost he should really run as a independent.
There are some people who i would never ever ever cast my vote for like Michelle Bachman.

I reckon Bachman should get the nomination, and then the election could double up as a holocausting technique. Basically, you would go into the booth, vote Bachman, and then when you walk out you would be escorted by armed guards who would go and kill you and dump your body in a river. Profit.

|
|

Quote Musefan1991 :
He believes in science
Funny how people now 'believe' in scientific fact, rather than just acknowledge it, isn't it? I'm not having a go, just pointing out that it's actually been drilled into us to treat being a logical person as a belief system just like believing in God.
Strange.

He acknowledges it, which is why i like him. everyone else doesnt.

To be fair it is an apt way of describing ones belief system, everyone has one and as long as there are people that believe things to be untrue there are people who believe things to be true. There has to be an opposite.
Surely acknowledge can be countered with 'does not acknowledge' but can also get confused with 'recognising the existance of' which is totally different.
It's the same thing really at the end of the day.
Also it's a direct quote from the man himself.

whats evolution exactly? so if you beileve in evolution then you beileve what this picture shows?
|
|
|
Evolution describes all living things, at least the theory of evolution is most commonly used to describe all animal and plant life. You could go beyond that to describe the universe as well seeing as is plays a role in evolution.
However Huntsmans view on evolution differs most peoples in that he believes it's all part of Gods plan. Still pretty forward thinking for a mormon.

Pretty much, yes.
Also, before you edited your post, Creation/The Big Bang was the beginning of things, not evolution .

yeah i was thinking the big bang/creation stuff was separate from evolution haha, which is why i edited my post.
well whats the counter to evolution?
just like the counter to the big bang is that god created everything
|
|
|
that god created everything
Literally that, he created the Earth and man in his image. No big bang just God with a lazy 6 days spare time. The planet is only 6,000 years old.
|
|
|
The counter to everything scientific will ALWAYS be:
God created it, it's in his plans. YOU CANNOT DENY HIS PLANS.
Effectively.

well then thats crazy lol no offense to anyone who believes in that.
i believe in the big bang
and since i dont beileve that god created anything, then that means i must believe in evolution, im guessing.
how the hell can someone beileve in that? i mean we have dinosaur bones to prove that the earth well well over 6000 years old. dont make sense
