First decent batch of names.
Coldplay, Kings of Leon, Chemical Brothers and Iron Maiden were already confirmed.
Today's names are: Portishead, PJ Harvey, The Gaslight Anthem, Elbow, Arctic Monkeys, Robyn & Two Door Cinema Club.
I wasn't going at all because of exams, but students with good taste in music (like myself) catch a lucky break, because Saturday is lining up to be the best festival day all across Europe (and no one has an exam on Sunday).
The Gaslight Anthem, Elbow, PJ Harvey, Portishead AND Coldplay are all (probably in that order) playing the Main Stage.
So I'll go buy me a day ticket then.

I probably won't be going this year. I'm going to do a eurotrip with a few friends in September and any money saving is welcome so..
Sorry, Coldplay

Doing this also. Think i will have Rock Werchter in my sights for next year though. Always wanted to go, i believe it's the best festival from what i've seen and heard. Plus Muse will probably headline next year as well.
Id rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy

I'm going to Arras this year.
Change of scenery.

Wow, that seems like a great day indeed! Portishead, Elbow and Coldplay will also be here too next summer, but at different festivals unfortunately.
We are the universe observing itself, we are the universe destroying itself.

I'm finally back. Best festival ever.
Headliners were weak as hell (Linkin Park: horrible, Kings of Leon: boring, Coldplay: underwhelming after a stellar performance two years ago, Black Eyed Peas: did not even bother) but everything else was amazing. Three shows probably rank in my top ten of all time.
Ranked:
Out of this world
1. Portishead: Beth's only interaction, three songs in: "Hello, good evening and I'm sorry it is still this light out, wish it would be a bit darker."
Show of the year if there were no Portishead
2. Queens of the Stone Age: Third time and by far the best. Lost both my sunglasses and a toe nail.
Impressive
3. Elbow: Saw them play a show case for 150 people two months ago, and now a heartwarming set for 80,000. Grace and ability at both ends of the live performance spectrum, it is a rare thing.
4. Arctic Monkeys
5. The National
6. The Gaslight Anthem
Great
7. Kasabian
8. Grouplove
9. Jenny & Johnny
10. Fleet Foxes
11. Warpaint
12. PJ Harvey
Good
13. Jimmy Eat World
14. Triggerfinger
15. TV on the Radio
16. Robyn
17. Two Door Cinema Club
18. The Vaccines
19. Lissie
20. Hurts
21. Everything Everything
22. Digitalism
Disappointing
23. Coldplay
24. Kings of Leon
25. Brandon Flowers
Horrible
26. Linkin Park

Got home at 4 yesterday, took a nap, went to a Werchter reunion at nine, then woke/sobered up by this morning 10 a.m., so more or less yeah.
