They all survived last time I played. Was I lucky or is it just easy?

All the ladies fancy Mordin
Unfortunately he's not a romantic option, but I'd have loved it if he was, I just can't imagine his chat-up lines
Thane's my pick

I dunno, I refuse to let it finish if he dies though, but I prefer Thane.

I hope Thane doesn't die in Mass Effect 3 because of his disease.

The lack of Garrus love in here is astonishing.

I watched the romance scene with him on youtube out of curiosity, it's amusingly awkward and slightly touching...

Wrex was amazing. The amount of times I reloaded to try and save him was ridiculous. It must have been 20+ times. Alas there was nothing I could do.

I'm 2 for 2 as far as Krogan's go in my 'first' playthroughs. Ashley shot Wrex on Virmire and Grunt was taken away by the collector swarm in the second. Feeling a bit sorry for the Krogan companion in 3, if there is one :P

I hate the Krogans, they're always bastards and I have no qualms sending them to their deaths. The only character I really cared about in ME1 was Garrus, so it was an easy choice sending Ashley to her death and shooting Wrex in the face.
ME2 was a lot harder. I genuinely liked most of the characters, except Grunt and Jack. Turned out Mordin was the one who died for me, and everyone else survived, somehow.
I'm just glad I got Thane and Garrus safe

|

If I had to choose someone to die it would probably be Grunt. I do like everyone though, in a way. The ones I'd certainly save are Mordin, Garrus, Tali, Thane, Kasumi... ok that's nearly everyone there...

I've only played ME2 once, but I kept everyone alive except Jack. She was killed defending the door while I kicked that reapers ass. I didn't really care for Jack, but I'd rather have kept everyone alive.

I wasn't too bothered about some of the 'minor' characters dying. I can't really see how Jack will help against the Reaper fleet in ME 3, where as Mordin could have some influence over the Salarians, Grunt/Wrex with the Krogans, Garrus with the Turians etc.
It'd be cool if there was an ending in ME 3 where you fail because you were a complete asshole throughout the other 2 games and no-one is capable of helping you.

That's an idea I hope Bioware take on board, as that would be ace. I hope all the decisions you've made previously really effect the third chapter. Equally I hope that some of the morally right choices have a backlash in the final game. It'd be great, that if you'd played through the previous two with all paragon decisions and the morally better choice could come back and bite you in the ass, perhaps in the form of people you spared or things you didn't do.
Id happily punch you all in the face

I done Zaeed's loyalty mission the other day, and it was genuinely the only time I've been caught between the morally right thing to do (save the factory workers) and the choice that will benefit me (chasing down and killing Zaeed's old enemy).
I've played through twice now, and each time I've went with killing that one guy, but both times I was pondering my choice carefully, something I never usually do. Usually, I only have to consider the moral implications of one or two people's deaths, and I can deal with that. Saving a factory full of innocent workers from certain death or killing one guy is a difficult choice to make, even for an all-out bastard like my Shepard.
I think I'll save them next time through. I'm trying to be Mrs. Nice Shepard in ME1 right now. It's difficult
|
|
|
Mrs nice Shepard? I don't think I've even considered playing the game through as a female. That'll have to be next weeks mission.
Id happily punch you all in the face

Being a Mrs cow Shepard is cool Although, my paragon is higher than renegade. I just went with what I'd do; I'd kick the guy out of the window for example, and I'd be loyal to my crew and did their loyalty mission correctly.
Bad-ass, twatish male Shepard next time.

I was just wondering. I was doing all the good things in the first two games, and I saved Wrex. If Wrex dies in your playthrough of ME1, What happened in ME2 when you encounter him? Is there a different leader making your mission harder? or what happens? I'm just curious..
