I wouldn't read too much into it though, considering Matt's British reserve. I don't really remember him gushing about how much he loves any of the band's music in interviews.
And I also remember an interview with Rich Costey (I think) where he mentioned that this British reserve caused some miscommunication, when the band's restrained reaction made him think that they didn't like something whereas they actually did.
