I think it's the fact that it was a kid that found it, in a school playground, that makes it more shocking.

Basically this just because a kid found it, doesn't mean it should be any more shocking if a adult found it (From the sounds of it most people are shocked because a kid found it).

It's not just because the kid found it, it's because of WHERE he found it. It was planted at a school. If that's not horrific, I don't know what is.

I think it would have been worse if it was found in a tall office building that has hundreds of people working in it, because it would have caused more damage overall.
I think I'm thinking about this a bit too much.
