Hmm seems likely it could be a new song seeing as Bare knuckle pickups have announced they have made a special pickup for a double neck custom guitar for Matt, he could be using the guitar for this 'new song' but we will have to wait and see eh xD
"On the 16th of April 2010, Bare Knuckle Pickups' twitter feed announced that the company had "just" finished building "Twin P90 bridge soapbars" for a "custom Manson double neck guitar" being built for Matthew Bellamy.[1] This announcement coincided with a series of musewire updates concerning studio recording,[2] which culminated with a mention of a new song "in the oven"[3]."

Unlikely but maybe this is a promo for the "New song" that's "in the oven". Could be doing a single in between albums like Dead Star/In Your World?
i would love them to do something like this

It would be great if they released something like this or an EP, since they haven't done one in a while.

Let's hope for something new, it's time now!

its gotta be the video for guiding light (hence the big light) and that matt doesnt play guitar in the first verse, so it could be more likely, and, so far, the first 4 singles have been the first 4 tracks on the album, and guiding light is track 5 so.....what do u think???

Nope, you're not the only one! <:
BUT WHAT DOES IT MEAN??
I thought that maybe it's at 250fps to slow it down or something, unless they just want it to be like... Ultra smooth ?!? It is a mystery.

If it was Guiding Light, why would Chris even have a microphone? He has no vocals at all in GL, but it sure looks like he's singing. And because of that, I think this is either the bridge of MK Ultra or that new song.

^I know this is wishful thinking but I so hope Chris has lead vocals in "In The Oven".

I really think it will be a new song which was made for eclipse but they are bringing it out anyway...
From XFM
"Tantalisingly, the band seemed set to give the film a brand new song which they’d planned to produce with Nirvana knob-twiddler Butch Vig.
Dom-"It was a love song, so it’s a personal song, and it wasn’t really to do with the films. But it was sounding good.
"We worked on it in Australia, we were ready to record, we were going to do some recording with Butch Vig, so we might still do it. I’m sure the song will definitely come to life for real at some point, but I think for this film it’s not going to happen."
Sounds possible :-D

By that logic this video should be USOE :P
I certainly hope that it's something new, but it feels more likely that it'd be something from TR. If it is a new thing however my bet is on the Eclipse song.

Nope
In fact it was the first thing I noticed! haha
Then the first thing that came to my head was Starlight remake :P

On a French radio station, they said Muse were working on a new song/single
However, in Australia, they have repeatedly been mentioning US as the new single

If it's a new single from The Resistance it's definitely going to be Unnatural Selection... They play it at every gig as a main act closer normally...
It won't be MK Ultra as it features in their set too infrequently to be a big hit
Guiding Light? Same as above, plus not as good
United States of Eurasia? Can't see a piano in the screenshot...
Also they NEVER play I Belong To You live so I highly doubt it is that
Best bet is that it is a shortened version of Unnatural Selection which cuts out the breakdown (which is butchery in my humble opinion) and probably some of the metal outro.
We shall see......

Yeah, US seems the most likely, although I hope it's MK Ultra, 'cause it's heaps better.

Would agree with you about the choice of single, and the inevitable radio edit for US. I'm actually looking forward to a version with the breakdown cut out or shortened though, sometimes i'm just not in the mood for it and it's one hell of a pace killer :P.
I disagree with the reasoning for MK Ultra not being a single though. Songs like Sing for Absolution tended to skip on and off the setlists, and i've also thought the reason behind MK being played so late was due to potential problems performing it live due to the strange layering in the song. The fact they play it a step down live also kinda supports this, although they did the same for Starlight and that's likely a piss easy live song.

Fair enough, but even though MK Ultra did make a late appearance it has never stuck as a staple song throughout this tour... But I will be happy to see MK Ultra become the next single because it will surely mean that it does become a regular in their sets for at least the remainder of this tour.

I hope it's the new mysterious song they've been working on.
