Some random thoughts:
I have streamers!
It was pretty cool jumping about to uprising in the rain.
More people should have sung to rbs.
The crowd were a bit annoying; please don't complain that you have to be at football practice at 8am if you're at a Muse gig.
Random guy with no shirt: "if this next one isn't koc, I'll suck you off"

dont you see!! The Hungry Caterpillar is about civil war in third countries causing poverty! on the fourth day, he ate three strawberries! the strawberries represent the child soldiers!

Back in Manchester, I did nothing but gush on the way home.

I was thrilled with the set. Ruled By Secrecy was epiiiic and it was great to hear MK ULTRA finally and Bliss for the first time in years!

I was at LCCC last week and although that was cracking, last night's gig was the best gig I've ever been to, even if it's tied with Wembley '07.

Oh my God last night was good.

Even if the setlist had been 'rubbish' it would have been immense, in fact Guiding Light with the confetti was propper epic.

BUT OMG CITIZEN ERASED, BLISS, MK ULTRA and RULED BY SECRECY just made it.

I actually think the songs Muse usually play make sense because they are brilliant live and keep everyone having a good time, but last night seemed to be the perfect mix of basic fan and hardcore fan favourites

And well pray that theres no God to punish us...

Muse - Wembley - 17th June - AMAZING!

O2 12 Nov gig was good despite passing out :P

Wembley 2010 - best gig of my life so far!

Reading Festival 2011 - possibly even better despite getting appropriately mashe

Copy and pasted from the other thread:

"My mind is absolutely blown, that was probably the best thing that I've ever experienced.

I queued for about an hour before the gig and managed to get about 25 rows back during the first 2 bands, then Biffy came on and, despite most people nearly getting killed in this one pit, I managed to get within a row of the inside barrier, about 15 rows back, great view.

Uprising was amazing, it really is the perfect opener. Everyone jumping and singing the synth parts and screaming the chorus and the Oi's.
SMBH was a bit dull, there's not really much to do.
MK ULTRA was incredible, I wasn't expecting it because they played it on that advert before Biffy, so I though that maybe they wouldn't, but they did and it was awesome, didn't expect it that early, I was awaiting New Born at that point.
MotP was a surprise considering we'd already had, I've seen Muse twice, both during this era, and they've played MK AND MotP at both of them, but only 3 or 4 other gigs. Map really is brilliant live.
Bliss was phenomenal, it's one of my least favourite tracks in the studio, but live it was possibly the best all night, the crowd reaction was fantastic, Matt's falsetto was spot on, and the song was reeeeeeeally long, the solo at the end was great.
Guiding Light was better than I though it would be, my friend got one of the streamers, and we took the oppurtunity to ask the stewards for some water, so pretty much everyone in the vicinity was drinking throughout the song.
Hysteria was meh.
Citizen Erased was stunning, when I heard the bass drum at the start I just went absolutely mental, the end is awesome, and the riffing, especially before the solo.
USE was as good as I remember it being, the Sia's at the had fantastic atmosphere, as well as the Queeny bits, and moshing during the arabic strings.
RbS was my favourite, I really didn't expect and I just screamed for about 10 seconds and decided to listen, there isn't much to do but just stand still and shiver.
Feeling Good was pretty good to be honest, but rather uninteresting.

I'm starting to forget the order now, and I don't have much more to say for the other songs but, MK Jam and UD were brilliant, we were about 5 feet away and Dom definitely smiled at me, Starlight was incredible, especially the heavy bits in the middle, same with TIRO, was absolutely fantastic atmosphere during the chorus and prechorus, the crowd singing was great as ever. Resistance was great live, but I still prefer it in the studio. Unnatural Selection was perfect, the atmosphere in the prechorus was intense.
Exo wasn't particurlarly special, but the alien was cool, I prefered the song with the towers though. Stockholm Syndrome was really great where I was, the people around me were mentalists, I kind of feel sorry for the small people behind us though.
TaB was expected, but I imagine that for those who hadn't watched videos etc. it would have been a pretty awesome time, with the flashing suit and everything. It was a very good song. Plug in Baby was very good, so much better when you're there, because everyone knows it. I managed to pop a balloon, but I didn't get it but I did get a mouthful of confetti, note to self, don't pop balloon with mouth open, I will be shitting paper for days. Knights was decent, but there would be better closers, obviously the crowd went mental and some of the pits were pretty insane, but I don't like the song much tbh.

Biffy were also really incredible, I nearly lost my shoes on quite a few occasions while they were on.

Best moment of the night was confetti in the mouth, it was hilarious."

And btw, I'm fairly sure that WWAB was not played after SS, it was different, but I don't know what it was.

The first half of last night got absolutely ruined for me by utter dickheads in the crowd. If you don't like Muse then why the fuck go and if you just want to stand still then sit the fuck down. I was so angry that I hadn't even realised they were playing Citizen Erased till half way through! I'm so gutted!

Still, the second half was great! Some more people joined who actually wanted to have a good time and all the arseholes ended up leaving in panic that they might get bumped into. It was just so frustrating as I could see everyone having such a good time about 8 people in to the left of me and I was getting was hassle for trying to enjoy something I've been utterly excited about for a year. I guess it was my fault as I didn't get into the crowd until biffy but I had 4 other people with me and they all had different ideas about when to get in. Should have gone earlier as I lost 3 of them anyway

As for the set list - that was amazing - I don't think I can fault it to be honest. Yes, guiding light isn't my favourite but it was brilliant live and the streamers were awesome! I managed to get one

Another couple of things I remembered that annoyed me...

You get people who wait until a few minutes before Muse come on and then push their way through to the front. Then about ten minutes later, you see the same people coming back through to the back in a panic. I mean come on, what did you expect at the front? A tea party? There's a reason I usually stay a little further back, and that's because the front can be fucking mental, and I usually stay away from that shit. You must be a complete idiot not to have even a vague idea of what's going to happen.

Second, why do people insist on throwing things at the band when they were on their podium thing? I know mostly it's just good fun and not meant with malice, but all it takes is for one thing to hit an eye or something in the wrong way and that could be the gig over. Great fun. Maybe I'm just being a curmudgeon, but I'll keep dancing to my safety dance...

Is there any chance of a decent bootleg for this? I'm planning on doing similar to what I did for the Rammstein gig and try and cobble together a (poor quality) DVD bootleg from Youtube videos - all my videos and photos were cack.

EDIT: So if anyone got some nice lovely HD videos, let me know, they would come in very handy

I caught a bra that someone had tried to throw at the podium but hadn't quite got enough power, it was an interesting moment, made hilarious by the guy in front grabbing it off me and sneaking it into his pocket.

EDIT: I also saw a muselive sign about 10 rows in front of me during White Lies, there were a few of you, not sure who though.

props to the White Lies and Biffy Clyro too. White lies got a brilliant reception, whilst Biffy were so good it looked like they were trying to make the night their own gig! Lots and lots of moshing was expected, and delivered!

I lolled at the inflatable whore, she got proper ripped up, my friend got her at the end somehow but threw her into the crowd

I think I saw you at some point through the gig, someone came up to me and kept putting their hand on me as if they knew me and I thought it might have been you recognising me from the O2? I could be wrong..
I would write what I thought about every song but I just can't.
I loved every song, CE, Bliss and RbS were highlights, so was Unnatural Selection.
I got a streamer from GL too which was nice, and we got so close to the stage, I feel a little embarrassed for worrying during the weeks leading up to it now.
