La Campanella! Wonderful piece of music. Probably my favourite of Liszt's, bar Liebestraume #3.
Small change got rained on with his own thirty-eight, and nobody flinched, down by the arcade.

Probably the best pianist who ever lived, next to Chopin and a couple others. I wish I could've seen Liszt play it live, though, to make sure. . .

Haha, seeing him live would have been amazing. Apparently he was the 19th century classical equivalent of a rock star.

In The Glass (OK Go)
Long (would not be long for Muse; only 6:15 or so), fairly progressive, very eerie keyboard intro. Great song all around.

Hummer is frickin' kickass -- so fat and fuzzy, and I love Billy's Rs. "Life's a bummeRRRRR".
3:52 to 4:30 gets me headbanging, which I rarely do, and the syrupy guitars at the end . . . great song.

i 100 percent agree, i never really paid attention to how great a tone he really has, ironically i have to thank muse for the recent SP kick, i was watching a muse vid on youtube from pinkpop and started going back through older pinkpop shows and landed on Hummer in 1994, the other songs SP did at that show were pretty damn awesome as well.

DECO*27 - Love Distance Long Affair
Yes, it is a pop song. Actually it is Japanese pop song but I don't care. It is one of the catchiest songs I have ever heard and I can't get it out of my head.

So many so short after a festival. Either Pictures of You by The Cure, Sweet Disposition by The Temper Trap, or Glass by Bat For Lashes.
I think.

Swansong for a Raven by Cradle of Filth
I can't believe how much I like this tune. It was like a beacon of hope through the thick aural fog of screaming and chugging I'd experienced with the genre so far . . . whatever the hell it's called now. Black death symphonic doom thrash metal.
Surprisingly melodic and provoking. I always had a soft spot for CoF after I heard Nymphetamine in secondary school -- the lyrics and high-pitched scream resonated with me immediately -- but I wasn't keen on the rest of the album it was on. This track's changed my mind again. They're pretty cool if you ask me, and Danni Filth seems like a nice bloke.
Edit: I had to cut the song to be listenable to me, though. From 1 minute in to about 3 mins 33, I removed that in Audacity. Totally ruins it.
