Am absolutely loving the highest harmony in the final "Oh-ho-ho-ho-cean" bit atm.
Just fucking flip a coin. GET ON WITH IT. - Matthew Bellamy

For me the Resistance is dragged ahead of BH&R by this song alone. Live this has been epic.
Now heres hoping MK Ultra is equally as good live, then I can happily put up with the 3 or 4 real duffers on the album

Pretty damn good live! But Muse never disappoints live. Probably blew U2 off the stage!

Yeah, still waiting for MK live. Thank you for these clips by the way.
Cheers all!

Were you part of THE RESISTANCE? Or one of the spineless who advocated activation?

The only thing i don't like about this song is any of the middle.
Hah

There is absolutely nothing about this song that I don't like.
But to me the best part is still the transfer between the organ opening and the guitar kicking in. Absolutely adore it.
Everything about you resonates happiness
Now I wont settle for less.

My favorite part is probably the organ.

his voice in the first two chorus is awful,
Especially the first "watch", thank god he sings it alot better live

it does sound better live, all of it,but i think it is really pushing it to describe as 'awful' anything about the vocals recorded.

The mid section is brilliant. Imo its the best bit of the whole of the album.
Maybe not, Maybe not.

Anyone else notice the chorus of this song and Thoughts of a Dying Atheist have the same melody when matt sings
In the end youll see that heaven and hell are the same place.........Earth - ???

Oh my, that is some terribly lame headbanging.
Oh well, good performance, good vid.
I still love the song, it's probably not my favourite off the album anymore, but it sure isn't bad.

Guys, I found a shocking comparison. Listen to the intro of Unnatural Selection, then listen to the Emmerdale theme tune. This can't be coincidence...the intro matches up perfectly.

I wasn't intentionally trying to find a comparison, I just noticed it when I was watching TV and listening to music. You have to admit it's a funny similarity, coincidental or not.

What's emmerdale? maybe I'll check out the comparison later

Yes, I noticed it too! The first chords are precisely the same (I think) and if you sing the first lines of ToaDA's chorus they fit like a glove.
