Not sure how bitching even happens on a night like that haha. I'll agree with the lots of alcohol part.

Met an old and really good friend of mine who moved out of town 4 years ago. It was really nice to catch up.
We tend to meet pretty much once every six months. I'm glad we are able to still keep in contact

I finish my degree when I finish my work, and I can do that within a week if I wanted. Flat situation is much better. I hopefully sign onto a flat tomorrow or in the next few days, which will take a huge load off my mind. In 3 days or so, I'll find out whether I am employed by the BBC and live / work in Manchester over the summer!

I feel so lucky about my PhD job! My supervisor is the best. She arranged 3 new projects for me in 10 minutes time. Whaaaaa. And I'm already working at 5 projects...WHHAAAA. And busy writing 2 manuscripts...Big WHAAAA!
Maybe I should establish a new goal: Finish my PhD in 3.5 / 4 years.

I only just realised how much I've changed over the past 2 years. I've become so much more independent, so much more realistic about life, love, friendship etc. I can't believe how naive I used to be. I know what I want now. Thank god I changed!
