Would have thought people would be posting more about their first Muse gigs, what they liked about it etc.
My first was on the 22/11/06 at Wembley arena. Looking back now, I think I actually prefer this gig to the other one I went to which was the first of the two Wembley Stadium dates. Yeah the setlist was better that day with Citizen Erased and Microcuts, but the arena is so much more intimate and the guys seemed much more comfortable. I was about 3 rows from the front of the standing section for both so its a fair comparison.
Something unusual happened at Wembley Arena though - they played Black Holes and Revelations in its entirety in the same order as on the album. So I am one of the lucky few who has seen/heard Assassin and Exo Politics! Knights of Cydonia was also in the middle of the set so that was unusual. After BHaR was finished they moved onto the older ones. They played them in order aswell (I think. Roughly at least):
Sunburn
Newborn
Plug In Baby
Feeling Good
Bliss
Hysteria
Time is Running Out
Stockholm Syndrome
It was quite a brilliant set looking back on it. During Stockholm Syndrome Matt changed the words slightly and sang "Yeah and this appears to be...the last time I'll forget you!" was cool, proof here:

He then proceded to smash his guitar, which was an Ibanez or a PRS, rather than play the outro Then he just stood there on the stage without a guitar as Chris and Dom closed the show.

It was brilliant. Much cooler and less 'formal' than Wembley stadium. I hope they're like this next time I see them which will be at Sheffield Arena on the 4th of November.

Roskilde Festival - july 2007
It was actually not THAT awesome. It was of course awesome finally seeing them live, but it was in the middle of the afternoon. No way they could do laser show or anything like that. One thing i remember very clearly was seeing them play Man Of Mystery and noone else but me knowing it. That was really exciting!
Saw them a few months later which was much better! And now there's my third muse gig tonight.. cant wait
