Seeing I'll put it in it's rightful place. Okay, so, if Matt isn't talking bollocks, this will be amazing. Anyone planning on going? Links and details: Official site: https://www.teenagecancertrust.org/royal-albert-hall/ - you will be able to buy tickets from here too. Prices: 2007's prices were: £70, £47.50, £37 or £19.50 (all plus booking fee). Probably be the same this year. Date: 12th April 2008.

Sounds incredibly tempting, depends on price of tickets as London is a far trek, but this would be extremly amazing I would imagine. I'd say a maybe-yes from me

erm....bit early to say yet? chances are it won't be just muse playing, he said its a charity thing so it'll probably be several bands, and it'll be on tv anyway.

Friday is my day off. It has a standing section as well which is cool. Im interested to see what the acoustics will be like. It will obviously sound really different to anywhere they have played before.

Hmm ... if Muse play in the middle of the afternoon, there'd be no need for a hotel... ...fat-chance.

Ahhhhhh, what a time to be owed £45 and not have much chance of getting it before Friday. >.< EDIT: Oh yeah, and still have the same problem as Wembley and have no one to go with. Craptastic.

Quote You could get a coach home after the concert. When Muse played Shepherd's Bush I got a coach at midnight from London to Yorkshire right after the concert. It's impossible to sleep and the coach takes 6 hours to get anywhere, I'd just get a hotel if I were you. If you look on the internet you can find 'reasonable' bed and breakfast places in London for £35 a night. The tube trains run until 01:30 so you don't need a hotel near the venue which costs more.

So do those prices apply from the arena upwards (e.g. arena = £70, stalls = £47.50 and so on until Gallery = £19.50). Or is it more complicated. Usually in the Albert Hall the boxes are most expensive, followed by the stalls and so on...

I'd love to go, and it's in a good cause as well, but I don't think it's possible for me. If the ticket prices are going to be the same as they are up there ^ then it'll probably be hard for me to afford, and getting to and from London is hell. Then there's the fact that it'll be hard to get tickets, as they'll be released on Friday and even if I wasn't at school that day, the tickets would still be high in demand.

Quote Don't let going on your own stop you from going somewhere you want. Which do you think you'll remember in 10 years, seeing a concert you love or feeling slightly awkward for 10 minutes as you get in the venue? Out of the 12 times I've seen Muse, 10 have been on my own and I've never regretted it afterwards. Good luck with that £45

Quote Yeah, but it's not just 10 mins though for me. It's the travelling, and then probably having to stop overnight (which I possibly wouldn't be able to afford..) and the entire thing basically. The coming back.. Meh. If it was further up north I'd be all up for it but been where it is.. not so sure.

I am be ready and poised to buy tickets. If i'm unable to get any tickets, hope anyone who does manage to get some enjoys the gig. Should be interesting to see if they have developed a new format.
