However, do people really expect a full set to be shown, again, almost live? When has that ever happened?

Anyway, OoS was fucking amazing.

Reading.... Glastonbury.... Not the full set but with a few songs cut. I have still yet to see the broadcast, but it sounds disappointing..

Yeah...'with a few songs cut out'. I wasn't aware that Matt had asked for OoS songs not to be broadcast, and that it wasn't the BBC's decision alone. That obviously changes the situation. Again, unless the whole gig isn't released within the next few week or so (I see no reason why Muse wouldn't be able to review and be happy enough to have the rest of the set broadcast by tonight/tomorrow), people who weren't there have very little to complain about. However, if it isn't released for several months, or not at all, then that is very, very poor play of Muse's part.

I was expecting a couple of songs to be cut, at most. I didn't think for a second that the whole thing would be shown. However, no-one could reasonably have predicted that Bellamy would have asked for all but three OoS songs to be cut from the broadcast.

Caville, you have no idea how disappointing it was to go from Bliss straight to Plug in Baby, thinking that they'll still show at least CE, FG and Megalomania, and it going straight to the riot intro. sc9outing frog irtls would never have done this to us.

I can see no reason why Muse would do this unless they are going to do something with the recordings. Whether it could be a release like those 3D Wembley videos or just a DVD (very unlikely).

Kinda sad since I wanted to see it back

I think it'll all probably surface eventually. I hope so, anyway.

All BBC stuff aside, my god they were amazing.

Muse announced the broadcast themselves on muse.mu, with the comment "what promises to be a fantastic set", so I think it's just an exuse from the BBC

I just wanted to watch Hyper Music again, it was soooo good at Leeds. That was the first time I ever heard that song live.

It was pretty damn awesome, although the crowd around me was too chillax. Megalomania and microcuts were my favorite from OoS. Didn't see anyone off muselive all day either

Just watched the Reading performance of New Born. Your curtain didn't go up for ages! It went straight up when the first notes of New Born came in for us at Leeds.

Agreed, the crowd around me was a little lackluster. Pretty much loved all of OoS but I was ready to scream at the guy behind that kept turning to his mate and saying "I wonder what they'll play next?"

The crowd around us were jerks. We moved back and found some more appreciative fans.

I thought it was part of the performance. For the curtain to drop as the guitar kicks in.

Haha sounds a bit special, that one!

I just can't get enough of the production as a whole, all the effects and videos were amazing. New Born video was classic, UFOs stealing the OoS sticks and dropping them upside down on another planet!

I didn't see the leeds setlist, so i realised they'd play it in order as soon as bliss came after new born. Although, i expected dead star as an opener just cause of the tom waits thing, hullabaloo style haha. ah well

edit: huhhh background just changed

Haha, yeah, after years of listening to the Hullaballoo live album it sounded so strange them not going straight into Deadstar after What's He Building in There.

Interlude came on - "I wonder if they'll play Undisclosed Desires next?"
Me - "Or maybe Hysteria?"
Them - "What's Hysteria?"

The graphics were awesome. I was loving the lasers too.

I love when the play the riff version of Uprising. For some reason just that little outro makes it seem worthwhile seeing the song.
