Last year at Glastonbury we were treated to the full Muse set on BBC television, which was well broadcast with the minimum of cuts (the break between main setlist and encore). Many of us fans were looking forward to the whole setlist again at Reading this year, especially considering the special occasion this year of the ten year anniversary of Origin of Symmetry and the band playing it all the way through. Instead, the coverage cut off after Bliss, skipped to Plug in Baby, and then went straight to Uprising - the beginning of the second half of the setlist which is almost identical to what was shown last year.
I understand that you have to decide what most people are going to want to see. However, in this instance I don't think it was the right decision considering the occasion and the previous coverage. It doesn't say anything about highlights on the EPG and, while I'm sure there is plenty still to be said about the rest of the acts today, there is the red button available, as well as time taken up by American Dad and Family Guy which are on pretty much seven days a week.
