The testimonial was excellent a brilliant send off to an awesome player. Brilliant goal aswell.
Also genius by him/the club to get Eric back and the first game for the Cosmos...as it took abit of attention away from the media shunning Scholes (just like he'd have wanted).

Where did you win tickets?

Also... Fabregas is getting desperate. Apparently, pinch of salt as always.

That was excellent.
Naysaying De Gea after one game seemed abit OTT, but oh well. He'll learn.

Brilliant performance outplayed City for 80 of the 90 minuted.
Cleverley was brilliant, as were most of the youngsters.
An interesting stat that the average age of the team once Evra came off, pre Berba inclusion was 22.1 years old. Lots of potential for the next 10 years really.

Yep, turned boys into men and men into boys.

Cleverley, Smalling, Jones, Evans and Welbeck were all brilliant.

De Gea was poor for the second goal, however other than that he was good. And his distribution is top.

Young looked like he'd played here for years. Great second goal; doesn't get better than that.

I fucking hate young, narrow minded football fans. Reguardless of who they support; they really piss me off. God hopes they learn once they mature.

Here's a classic from the United fourms:

"Jack Wilshere is over-rated! in my eyes, i see tom cleverly being the future of the england team. All wilshere seems to do when i see him is fall on the floor and stay there. He's a good dribbler no doubt, but our tom looks to make plays and helps set up goals."

And my response:

Rediculous comment. How biased are you? Wilshere is a great player and before Cleverley is the star player in the England team and playing for United week in week out; Wilshere is better. Plus Wilshere is younger.

Why can't they both be the future of England? They're both amazing prospects and i can't wait to seem them together in future.

No need to slate Wilshere, just because you rate Cleverley.

But they're the same little kids who sit playing Fifa all day, always go Manchester United or Barcelona, and quit when you score against them. They're idiots.

You get that a lot up here, with the Celtic/Rangers divide. For 90% of each fan base, it's almost unthinkable to actually say the other team might have a good player. The only player in recent times I've seen both sides appreciate is Henrik Larsson. And he left Celtic seven years ago. Players like Steve Davis, who I always say is one of the best midfielders in Scotland despite his disgusting Hunnery, and Gary Hooper. I rarely, if ever, see the opposite side say 'Aye, he's a good player', despite their obvious talent.

It's a jealousy thing. That Man Utd fan is clearly jealous because in Wilshere, Arsenal have the best young player in the Premiership. Just like when you hear people panning Berbatov, it's jealousy because they know he's a great striker.

To be fair the amount of shit that is talked on the United forum is huge. You could spend a week arguing with narrow minded idiots. I imagine it's the same on most football forums though.

I only go on one football forum. A United one. But it's in a bit that's a members section, so we avoid most fuckwits, as there are plenty.

Wilshire, Cleverley, Frimpong (if he chooses England, not Ghana for full internationals), Henderson, are all brilliant prospects, to naysay one instantly is nothing short of arseholery.
England in five years could be spoilt for choice in the CM area.

Just saw the goals. Nani's first was absolutely sublime. Dzeko's was a corker too, although De Gea should've saved it really. Pretty poor goalkeeping.

Carrick snubs Capello again, but atleast Cleverley takes his place

Wilshere also withdraws from the squad

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain having a medical at Arsenal. Bout time they signed someone, however yet again its just a youngster. Seems to be same old, same old from Wenger in the transfer market.....

They let City and United fans get that close? Rangers and Celtic supporters need to be separated by an entire street :P

Edit: Bit of a shameless bump here, but if anyone didn't know already there's a team of Celtic legends playing a Man Utd select tonight at Celtic Park. Live on ITV 4 just now if anyone's interested, should be a good watch!

So apparently we got beat by Scotland last night... I'm really starting to doubt we're gonna qualify for the next two big tournaments. Portugal will take out first place and we'll prolly fuck it up and let Norway have the second spot in our group.
And then we've got a pretty tough group for the Brazil World Cup...

Cesc looks set to become the new Mascherano on Barcelona's bench then.

Oh, and Nasri's off to City (
cunts!
) according to the BBC and French news.

Fucking top day for Arsenal.

EDIT: Nasri has apparently agreed a five-year contract worth £185,000-a-week with Manchester City ahead of a £22million move to the Etihad Stadium

That is fucking ridiculous. Well, there's the reason he's going to move to city.

Arsenal are just a feeder team now. Your players know your going nowhere with Wenger and are jumping ship. Won't be top 4 this season unless you replace your midfield and get a good keeper.

Surely Fabregas wont get a 1st team place in barca? Xavi and Iniesta partnership wont be broken for anyone.

City are just buying everyone for the hell of it. 185k a week, football gone madder. I'm not gonna lie, I'm really pissed off about it, and I hope he does shit and Shitty.
