Indeed, the standard of refereeing is ridiculous. If they can't do their jobs properly, they should be sacked.
I mean lets be honest, their job is not easy....with all the added pressure from press, fans, managers and most of all the lack of support from those wankers Fifa, it must get tough. However some decisions are just not acceptable. Theres been huge decisions in World Cups and Champions League games that you simply can not defend. They could make it easier for them selfs if they just came out after the game and spoke to a camera and said, yeah.... i got it wrong. But they never do, and that pisses me off just as much.
If it wasn't for poor refereeing decisions, you wouldn't still be in the FA Cup.
Oh yeah....cause you did get near our goal didn't you?
If it wasn't for poor refereeing you wouldn't of won the European Cup in 2005. Remember the Luis Garcia so called "goal" against Chelsea that never crossed the line?

If you ignore the fact that it did cross the line then I guess you could say that it didn't, you're right.
Point is, United get one hell of a lot of refereeing errors in their favour, which is fair enough, because that's what Ferguson is paying for.

If it wasn't a goal, it was a penalty and red card for Cech, then who knows what would have happened.
Anyway, to continue the game: If it wasn't for poor refereeing, we'd have won the Champions League again in 2007.

It's actually proven it didn't cross the line, lol. But like I said, should have been a red and a penalty anyway for the foul on Baros.
Whilst I'm not even going to go into the whole bribing conspiricy theory, you can't really deny that United to get more of the dodgy decisions in their favour. Sure it happens to every club anywhere, it just seems to happen to United more :P
We're going to win the Europa League this season!

Coincidence?!

It could just be that the refs know that they'll be stabbed by horrible dirty mancunians if they let the other side win, they're not necessarily bribed.

Here's the article: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2009/sep/22/manchester-united-goals-stoppage-time
And the coincidence was a joke....
And as for Arsenal's disciplinary record, it's because we get them for nothing. Occasionally they're deserved, like Wilshere's red, but more often than not we're penalised for the most softest of things. Arsenal aren't a dirty club.

Plenty of people get cards for nothing though...most of them will be...
Yet you have 45 yellow and 6 red cards.
Joint top on red cards and 9th on yellows.
I'm sorry but that strikes me as quite dirty. It's the red cards that ruin you.

Cards don't tell the full story of how dirty a team is. There are other factors, like fouls that go unpunished. I can think of times where Man United had gotten away with bloody murder, whilst the other team (and the one occasion that strikes me particularly is against Arsenal) gets cards for nothing.
But if we're going by cards, then Paul Scholes is the joint third dirtiest player in the premier league with 8 yellow cards. Man United also have 43 yellow cards, 2 away from us.

I know, hence me saying the Red Cards have done you in...
Every team gets soft yellow cards, but reds are much harder to get softly, although Vidic last week is a case in point.
And Paul Scholes is dirty as such, the boy just can not tackle.
Arsenal are supposed to be a team of fancy kids that get booted off the park, but really?
6 red cards...
The chances of those predominantly being 'soft' are unlikely.
I can think of times this season when arsenal have got away with murder aswell.

Blame it on Wenger buying Koscielny. He's like the new Tony Adams or Keown.....except he's not at all as good as Tony Adams or Keown...

Also that statistic on added time is abit rich...considering the average shows utd get on average less time than the other top 4. While we do get additional 1 minute...it doesn't mention what incidents occured in these games, it constantly raises the 7 minutes played in that game. Which will add 3 minutes above the average, meaning 3 of those losing games could have only had 3 minutes added time, but the length in the city game caused a spike.
While with regards to the 7 minutes played, if you take into account both city's (post 4 minute announcement) goal and the 55 seconds of celebration, the subsitution 30 seconds, that goal was within (or potentially 1 second outside) the minimum amount which should have been allowed...so still 58 seconds before the maxiumum, ontop of the celebration for the owen goal, the injury time was correct.
But it's always a conspiracy .
