Great Result for Everton today, played brilliantly. Cahill and Arteta were quality. This Rooney stuff is worrying

Sell Rooney now, imo.
He's finished with United. He's unhappy and he's not playing well and to be honest, no player is indespensable. If they can get good money for him, he should go.
That is, of course, if United will actually replace him with another top-class striker. Dzeko would do well.

I would actually support Rooney being sold, and that's not something I ever thought I'd say. He is a shadow of who he used to be, and even if he does improve, I would rather cash in, get a decent swap or cash deal for him to fund a player who isn't going to let his indiscretions with a prostitute kill what could have been his best season yet.

yeah.
he will pick up - there's no doubt about it, but at the end of the day, there are hundreds of players that can do what he can do and that's score goals.
maybe it'll take a season or two to find a player who can bang in 30+ a season, but that's fine. it isn't like United are going to win the league this year anyway... and if they can get around 50-60 million for him, they can pick up a couple decent ones.
the main thing is, if United do sell Rooney, they need to reinvest that cash and they need to reinvest it in decent players.
Selling him would be a huge loss only if they didn't get another decent goalscorer.

Press Association now reporting that Rooney won't sign new deal. For me, that pretty much means the story has some truth to it.

Any United fan who thinks selling Rooney is good for your club have lost the plot. You are fast losing quality players you could well lose Giggs, Scholes, Van Der Sar very soon, Hargreaves is fucked, Nani blows hot and cold, Owen is a has been and Berbatov has scored a few goals this season but is hardly on Tevez form is he.
Plus you all thinking of who you will replace him with, all that money will go to service debt just like the Ronaldo money did "no value in the market" my arse. In short it dosent look good for you if he goes

it doesn't look good if he stays, either. the problem isn't rooney - the problem is debt. if the debt isn't sorted out, then it doesn't really matter whether rooney stays or goes anyway.

Didn't take long for the Daily Fail to find a tenuous bit of dirt on Henry.

Hahahaha, oh dear. 'Daily Fail' does pretty much sum it up.
I doubt Rooney will go anywhere, he'll find his form soon enough and then everything will be alright, which is good since I don't like seeing English players go off and play in foreign leagues.
Torres, on the other hand... Starting to think we should attempt to cash in on him while he's still got a reputation.

That's pretty good. It's just a shame the killing machine de Jong wasn't banned from football. Seriously.

What a cunt, I'm surprised he doesn't get along better with SAF, they're both total bastards who dream about fucking 60 year-olds.

Well, that's that then. Rooney's gone. I don't think Ferguson gave him any support at all, I don't believe him at all.

I watched my first match in 3D last night. It was weird, I had my glasses on and yet I still ended up turning to watch the 2D screen. Probably because it was showing better angles.

Yup, it's as good as certain now that SAF has said it. I don't quite agree with you though James. If it has been anyone else, then I would agree - he doesn't like players going against him, or thinking they're bigger than the club. However, I think he knows that Rooney is an important player. He was trying to protect him through all the stuff about his private life (rightly or wrongly, we shall see) but Rooney seems to have just acted like a spoilt kid in the face of things not going well. He bedded prostitutes despite recently married - but then Ashley Cole did something similar, and managed to keep himself doing his job, despite being a massive cunt. If his only thought at this stage is that he wants to leave rather than stick at it and regain his form, then it is time for him to go. For the money that he will attract, it's possible that a replacement be bought that won't be so erratic with form. If the money is made available, which is a big if...
Big question also is what sort of fee would he command? Do you buy Wayne Rooney the name, the legend, or are they buying the form, the shell of a man we now see?

I think it's because Rooney is my favourite player. I don't want to admit that he's just being a bit of a twat here.

My take on it is Rooney is still young and is running from his problems, I think a whole lot less of him as a person after what he has done to his family but not as a player. My guess is Fergie told him to man up and he took offence to that or it could be just simply he can't handle the heat of the press.
Who knows really, I doubt he'd go to another English club but if he does you know it was a bust up with SAF anywhere else and it's to get away from it all.

Probably because 3D is a load of shit.
Small change got rained on with his own thirty-eight, and nobody flinched, down by the arcade.

Fall to bits?
Hardly.
Come back and talk when you swine have actually won something.
How many years is it now?
That's right, just incase you had forgotten.
