Is premature to start discussing transfers? Premier League is being linked to Higuain. Man Utd, City and Chelsea. Apparently contract talks have stalled in Madrid (he's only on £15,000 per week).
edit: United need another forward badly though. Their top goalscorers:

I'm still hoping Joe Cole might consider a trip up the M6. He probably wants to stay in the capital, but he's the kind of attacking midfielder we need seeing as Carrick has just turned to shit. I'm hoping Hargreaves returns for the new season with the form he had in the 2006 WC finals. He was England's best player there, and I'm excited to see him return.
Berbatov has had his chance, really. He missed three glorious chances yesterday. We could probably get £15m for him. Carrick back to Spurs for £7m. Use that to get Benzima from Madrid for £25m. We can use that Ronaldo pot Gill said is still available.
Defensivly, we're sound. I only found out this yesterday, but we had the best defence in the league. Amazingly impressive seeing as the back four wasn't consistent at all.
We need to start preparing for when Giggs, Scholes, and Neville retire. I'm confident Nani and Valencia can take control of the wings, Hargreaves can take up a centre role. If we can't get Joe Cole, James Milner would probably be interested.
We can worry about the GK situation when Van der Sar retires. He definitely has two seasons in him.
Michael Owen; definitely keep him. He's a brilliant option to have come on when the game needs changing. I've missed him a lot, and we could have done with him in the run in. Plus he's hot.
Captaincy wise, we need a consistent leader. Rooney should be captain.
Squad wise, I reckon we're good. Just need another striking option that will get us goals. I'm just glad that Ladyboy Torres has no plans to join United.

He is abit of a penis, really. I can see why alot of people don't like him, my only defence is, he is a knob, but he's our knob, it's the Ronaldo principle from the last few seasons. Except Neville lacks the ability of Ronaldo...so, yeah...he's a cock.

Why? I'd happily take Torres off the dippers, they'd be putting themselve into comas through rage, i think i'd piss myself laughing. Seriously though he's a quality goal scorer, could easily bag 20+ a season and should be fine after this surgery injury wise. He's a good runner and, as proven every time against Vidic, he's a fucking strong woman when he fancies it. Shame it won't happen.
I also wouldn't sell berba, we have no kitty, the prospectus said as much, he is class, we just need to sort him out, he's a confidence player and that's been lacking...although he's bee performing better in the last few games since Blackburn, actually running behind defenders and surging into the box, got us the key penalty the other week and a cheeky assist this week, i'll give him one more season.

Fulham played well, it's a shame they lost, they didn't show themselves in a bad light and did well against a team i thought would beat them more comfortably. It's unfortunate and i feel sorry for them.

Ronaldinho is a bit of a suprize, Pato is a shock! but the others expected. Its the no Zanetti and Cambaisso for Argentina and the no Benzema for France thats got my head spinning
