^ possible, but as far as i know hiddink will wait until february. he wants to know results of elections of new head of russian football federation. he said that he is not going to do active steps before that.

as for benitez - poor juve... it was a big mistake to cancel a contract with ranieri

I know the Benitez thing was denied, but even still.. can any club really turn down a chance to sign Gus Hiddink? I think not!

Not good, but there's people who are interested so hopefully it won't take too long to get out of it.

I don't get why he's going. I don't see why we'd want to let him go, and its not like he'd even go for much. £7mil? Pretty much makes no sense to me whatsoever.

So, we've rejected £9m for Babel, a player who has the potential to be good, but lets face it, will never break into the first team while Rafa is there.

And are now allegedly accepting a £7m bid for arguably our best player at the moment...

The only sensible thing I can see this leading to is the buy of a good english player or 2, in preperation for the new rules next season.

That said, the story was only in the Mail.

Dynamo sporting director Konstantin Sarsania said: 'It is true that we have come to an agreement with the player's agent. In the next two days, Liverpool will make their own decision.

Hopefully they just made that quote up. :P

But yeah, selling our best player for peanuts just makes no sense. I reckon Babel might be heading out the door anyway, so £16m should be enough to get someone half decent you'd think. I say that, but I know i'll end up being disappointed by whoever Benitez buys. *sigh*

Babel and Yossi out, Ashley Young and Ryan Shawcross in.

If anything other than that happens, Rafa can fuck off.

Rafa is just odd now-a-days, as much as it should find it joyful...and it does make me a little bit cheerful, it fills me more with confusion at the dude...he's just not using logic, the decisions are just wierd.

Nah we've already taken Silvestre from you, if we had Nani we'd become United's recycling bin.

Liverpool have dismissed claims that midfielder Yossi Benayoun will follow striker Andriy Voronin to Russian side Dinamo Moscow.

Dinamo sporting director Konstantin Sarsania had said a deal had been agreed for the 29-year-old Israeli international to join his club.

But Liverpool say Benayoun, who signed a new deal last summer to keep him at Anfield until 2013, is not leaving.

"The player is not for sale, it's as simple as that," said a club spokesman.

Hopefully that club spokesman knows what he's talking about.
