Haha. Unfortunately he's only scored against two of the bottom teams in the Championship though I'll be convinced if he puts one past Newcastle or West Brom!
Nice to have some points at least.
Small change got rained on with his own thirty-eight, and nobody flinched, down by the arcade.

Well done the Hammers for hanging on for a draw. I say hanging on, they were the better team for the last half hour, and the Sturridge penalty shouldn't have been; Upson got the ball fair and square.
Still, it could have been worse

West Ham played brilliantly. They were fantastic attacking, and Noble and Parker played phenomenally. Hugely unlucky to have lost, they deserved all 3.
I'm pretty certain that they drew

Yeah, they drew.
Ah well, we may have a bit of a chance in the title race now.

I was fuming with that penalty decision for chelsea, the ref wasn't giving it and the linesman was in no position to give it...bullcrap, west ham were screwed, they played chelsea off the pitch today

Exactly. Chelsea were awful, yet they come away with the point because of an awful penalty decision.
C'est la vie.
Still pretty shocked about Hughes though. Estimation of him went down after the derby game at OT but he was still a pretty decent manager. But what's shocked me more is that the club are willing to let him spend £200million and then sack him before Christmas. Still in contention for a top four place, FA Cup and Carling Cup still. I didn't think he was doing that bad.

As happy as I am that Chelsea didn't win, it's bad for Portsmouth because they'd caught up on points and goal difference

Rooting for English teams is so cliche. You're probably goind to end rooting for Man Utd too, am I right?

ok im totally ignorant of the football league, so idk how often English teams play other teams in Europe.
only connection i have right now is im Irish so if i can i will try and watch them, but i don't know how good they are. I'm open to anyone, but im not gonna watch a team that blows, because I have had enough of that with Chicago sports. But i guess my hometown chicago fire are actually pretty good, but american football sucks compared to the rest of the world.
at no point am i talking about NFL football here.

The English league is probably the most interesting league to watch, even though the Spanish is very strong and has the best players in the world. There are also two European leagues, one of them being the Champions League (where the best teams from the strongest leagues play against each other). The other is Europa League or something, like a 2nd class Champions League.
Anyway, watch some games if you like, and keep in mind that the big four teams in the English league are Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool.

thanks, ill start watching some games and eventually pick my own team.
Going to get an Italy football jersey when i visit there next week.

I'd advise against supporting Liverpool, its horribly emotional, and very frustrating.
Well, this season is anyway.
We may be the most successful team in England, but that's all in the past :P

Just don't watch the Italian league. I fall asleep each game in the past 4 years in this shit.
The past is now part of my future, The present is well out of hand.

Are you joking?

You don't have a fucking clue what it's like to properly support a team.
Have your team close to administration, near to a 10 points deduction and close to being completely liquidated then I'll respect what you're saying, but for now you can enjoy sitting in your armchair.
