Everton are a good side, it won't be that easy for Chelsea. It'll be 2-1.

Fucks sake, I hate this whole Hillsborough thing. It's boring, get over it. Liverpool fans are happy to sing about the Munich air crash, but I bet if anyone sang about Hillsborough then they'd start fights and the media would go mental. If anything, I hate Liverpool more for it, it's like they completely ignore their part in what went on at Heysel. Cunts.

I can't really remember, was the media coverage this big for the 50th anniversary of Munich last year?

I think its only staying in the news because the cause is 'unresolved', as such.

That and, obviously, because its been 20 years. Won't be in the media at all next year, i doubt, just like the 51st anniversary of Munich wasn't.

Completely agree, they we're all doing aeroplane gestures in the paddock at OT this year, i hate how no bad light ever gets shined on the scouse because they whinge and bitch and moan so much about it no media see the point to do it. Even when they attacked the ambulance containin alan smith a bit of a scene was made but it kind of got brushed under the carpet...if that was any other team the F.A would have had them bent over.
As for hillsborough, i can see the whole police cocked up arguement but i'm still firmly of the opinion that many of the people claiming to be after justice are part of the reason it had happened if so many ticketless fans hadn't attended there'd have been no crush in the first place.

Liverpool fans want justice? They won't get it. As Colin said, they seemed to have forgotten about their part in Heysel, not to mention the absolute hypocrisy they spew when they demand respect from fans, but they are free to start chanting about Munich etc.

While I feel sorry for the 96 people who died, I don't have any time for the fans who want justice. Because half the fans who demand it, are hypocrites who don't deserve it.

And also, if it wasn't for the Liverpool fans, Oxford would have been in Europe in '86, and they might have not been in the league position they are now.

Hate Liverpool, especially Steven Gerrard.

Wow you're like identical to me but replace oxford with United and 86' with all the earlier nineties, we'd have dicked on europe at the time if it wasn't for the ban. Also i hate steven gerrard so so so much i can't even begin to explain.
Altho
reporter: Do you think the hillsborough tragedy when you were young made you want you become a liverpool great?
Gerrard: Yes
Fuck off you lying scouse twat you supported everton as a child, you put yourself off as some model professional despite a line of dropped police cases and apparent paying offs of the people involved, he's a dirty bastard and i fucking hate him. And on the subject of model professionals...despite his tackle inability - Paul Scholes - get up, train, play match, shower, go home.

It wasn't that bad last year, they had a few programmes on the BBC and other channels then a bit on the news.

I can bet it will be in the news, it is every year, why wouldn't they remember it and make as much fuss as they can about it? All they want is members of the Police in charge that day to be recognised for their part in it, but it blatantly won't happen.

Anyway, don't get me wrong, I feel sorry for the people who died, but hearing Liverpool fans moan about it every year really gets on my nerves.

I've seen him in a whole new light these past couple of seasons, and tbh, I really don't like him that much anymore.

He's a bit of a diving, scheming, lets-hit-the-ball-miles-over-the-bar twat, really.

Shock horror, I must be the only liverpool fan doesn't bum him.

At the end of the day, whilst Everton may be out biggest 'rivals' - due to locality, United are the club we're fighting to win the league. They're currently our biggest rival. So in this instance, i'd take a Utd loss. It's hardly like i'd wish Everton to win any other game! If they have a chance to take points away from our rivals in the league, then yeah.. i'd want them to win. Just maths, nothing more than that.

I know where you're coming from, dude. It's a possibility that Sheff United will be relying on Sheff Wed to beat Cardiff on the final day of the season, and if that's the case, I'll want them to truly thrash them. But, thanks to Preston, that situation now looks to be unneccesary, and it seems Birmingham will be our only rivals, if we beat Burnley tomorrow. Big if.

Yeah exactly. If another team, who you dislike, can benefit you by winning a match... then you'll want them to win. You'd clearly have to be a plank, or harbour some seeerious hatred, not to think that.

Would you class everton as a bigger rival than us though? I would class our rivalry with you as larger than us and city now. Times have changed and city are a joke, then again everton are heading to be a top four team, your general area...champions league places not league champions, not since i was born and not since the backpass rule was removed hmmmmm good old liverpudlian attacking football :P

It's hard not to consider the current champions of the league our biggest rival really. As you've said, most utd fans would consider us your biggest rivals, would they not? Maybe if Everton were to become a regular 'top 4' team, i'd consider their rivalry to be the biggest. As they're not, i guess it logically has to be Utd.

It's a hard decision to make, considering Everton have been our biggest rivals for many many years now - that'll just never go away. I guess it's not as clear cut as Celtic and Rangers, they contest the top 2 spots in Scotland and are city rivals. Now that i don't see changing.
