To be honest, no one really gives a shit about the football at the Olympics. The atmosphere last night showed that.
Fantasy Football has started up again btw. http://fantasy.premierleague.com/

The fact it was in Middlesbrough, the worst city in Britain just says it all.

It's not even them that piss me off the most. They're businessmen. They saw a fucking gap and went for it. It's what they do, as cunty as it is.
Gill and Fergie have held the club down and smiled while the Glazers rape the club and destroy everything that was great about it. Preaching their socialist bollocks while pocketing the cash. Feeding the shite to the gullible masses, who eat it up.
What are the odds on them being in the 16m share, 288m dollar, employee pot and how much will they be getting? High and alot I expect!
Fuck off Fergie you fucking cunt.
Great owners indeed.

Glazers’ massive u-turn on MUFC IPO as they claw off more than half of proceeds for themselves
The Glazers have tonight revealed a massive u-turn in their IPO proposals. In the original filing it was made absolutely clear that ALL of the proceeds of the IPO would go to paying down debt the Glazers have loaded onto Manchester United.
A revised filing tonight http://1.usa.gov/NExsII reveals they now plan to take HALF OF THE IPO PROCEEDS FOR THEMSELVES.
Furthermore the amount raised to pay down debt will be relatively insignificant (£75m) leaving £350m of their debt still on our club.
A spokesman for the Manchester United Supporters Trust said "Supporters are going to be very angry about this. The Glazers have already cost United more than £550m in debt related fees and now another slap in the face as they help themselves to half of the proposed IPO proceeds. Each of the 6 lineal descendants of Malcolm Glazer will claw out $25 million for themselves."
"Clearly this has nothing to do with benefits for Manchester United and is all about giving the Glazers quick access to desperately needed cash at the expense of our football club. What is the sudden reason for this desperation for cash now?"
"There is now no doubt that this IPO is bad for Manchester United supporters, Manchester United Football Club and any investors gullible enough to pay the inflated price they've attached to inferior shares which have just 1/10 of the voting rights of the Glazers shares and no dividends. Their bare faced cheek is almost unbelievable."

That's not the bit I mean...
That's the initial rage, re the pocketing of money they stated initially was to be used to pay down the debt. They clearly need money.
That's the actual IPO, where the Glazers are taking half the proceeds, the initial 10% offered to the public, which due to the 2-tier share structure amounts to 2% of the voting power of the club, the Glazers retaining 98% of the voting power too.
It's the later 16m share..."Equity Incentive Award Plan"...for "selected employees, consultants and non-employee directors."
So one assumes, Glazer sons, Fergie, Gill, etc. In that. It's a share of a secondary release of 10% shares in the future.
They're selling 10% and pocketing half.
Gifting another 10% to selected employees (possibly including the Glazer sons who have been regarded as directors/consultants).
So Glazers will own over 96% of the company, yet have pocketed over £150m.
Another potential issue is the Chevrolet shirt deal...the figures for that have not been mentioned and it's been suggested by a few financial analysts that it may be below the market value, but with a significant upfront fee...I wonder why . Incase you can't work it out...it's to get cash into their pockets!

I don't want RVP, nor Moura. I want a fucking CM.
I'd take Sahin atm, seeing as we now have the 30m for Lucas Moura now free, surely we could buy one... .
Oh wait, we don't actually have any money and most of our transfer gossip is just speculation to make it appear like we do. 8-1 for City to get RVP is worth a 10er punt.
He even used the "silly money" comment again yesterday. FOFYFC.

If we were to get a cm I'd probably want someone like Yohan Cabaye. A good technical, well balanced midfielder. Has lots to offer going forward, but can do the odd bit of defensive work aswell.
EDIT:
Micheal Carrick gets recalled to the England squad to play Italy
Time to fake an injury again Michael. He's only in cause the majority of the Euros squad isn't there. He said he'd help out in certain situations, i.e lack of cover in midfield. Not officially retired from International football of course.
Right, so where is Tom, Paz, James or anyone who has more business knowledge than me? (which doesn't take much) United have began selling shares on the New York stock exchange, yeah? This bad, good or indifferent?

It's indifferent.
It's lower than what they wanted as a minimum, still doesn't mean it will be hugely successful. Only about 30m will pay down debt, lowering interest costs by a small 4m p/y. Barely a drop in the ocean.
Purely to line their pockets with quick easy money.
Read this and subscribe. He's a financial analyst and big red, looks over all the books, detailed analysis but also puts it into laypersons' terms!

Arhh right I get it. That's fucking bullshit. The end of 2014 can't come quick enough if that's when we'll break even.
Wow. PSG paying €45M for a 19 year old Brazilian who has been dubbed a wonder kid. What the fuck is the game coming to? We all know what happens to Brazilians who are dubbed the next big thing? They do well for 1 or 2 seasons then inevitably let the hype get to their head, get fat and fuck back to Brazil never to be seen again. Brazilian footballers don't age well. Unless you're a defender. They're slightly more trust worthy.

First trophy in the bag. Good game with a few nasty tackles flying around. was encouraging to see how we outplayed what will be Chelsea's first team with players missing.
Oh and on Hazard:
£32 million well spent

There is possibly an upside to this IPO business.
Just got sent this email......
Hi Me
We need your help - this is a crucial time for the ownership of our club and could lead to a real opportunity if the Manchester United share price falls low enough in New York.
Of course all the media commentators and analysts agree these shares are a terrible financial investment and not even good for supporters as they provide minimal voting rights, no AGM, no transparency of finances or activities and no dividends. However some fans may be tempted to buy shares and we know the Glazers' bankers have been working to keep the price up too.
However as a result of the shares being quoted on the Stock Exchange it does mean the market will establish a value for them and consequently an approximate value for Manchester United as a whole. It is possible that could open the door to a takeover bid from friendly partners.
If you could forward these links below on Twitter, Facebook and Email so that everyone knows the situation regarding these shares that would be helpful:
London Evening Standard: Manchester United’s float shares ‘are worth less than $5’ according to New York analysts http://bit.ly/Tyg8EL
Soccernet ESPN: Man Utd share value 'could plunge' http://es.pn/PdeUxD
PrivCo: Manchester United fair value share price just $4.97 vs $14 IPO price - overvalued by 281%. $MANU could fall by more than 64% http://bit.ly/MTAx27

Don't see why everyone is so baffled. No different to paying over £30m for Rooney at the time (give the exchange rate at the time, it was around €40m). And English players often fail to live up to the hype aswell.
He'll be awesome, assuming he puts the work in...the same as everyone else. Whether that happens at PSG is another matter.
And that doesn't always happen, fat Ronaldo was a top player for years, got fat and shit past his peak anyway, as was Rivaldo, Cafu and Carlos. I also don't think Kaka is done for yet either. Think he'll still be a good buy.
Oscar looks amazing. Chelsea have stolen him if it was the £20m rumoured...
