The death threat doesn't even make sense. Why threaten the victim? Stupid cockneys.

I hope Terry gets masses of abuse tomorrow anyway, and that Chelsea get fucked over.
It would make for a pretty decent weekend, providing we're successful at Anfield.

Going to the Millwall game today, in the home stand... with a Saints fan. Things could get messy...
Small change got rained on with his own thirty-eight, and nobody flinched, down by the arcade.

Didn't deserve defeat today. A draw was deserved.
For the amount of players we had missing, I think we did pretty well. Seriously missed Rooney. Needed someone just to drop off, recieve the ball, spread it or create something through the middle.
To me though, Liverpool are still miles off being the top club in England. They lack quality; as has been the case for years due to poor work in the market. They spend millions on players that should be on the bench just to strenthen the squad in depth.
Great atmosphere today, from both sets of fans. Shame about the Evra boos though.

Well today was a shit day for sports teams that I support.
Also, tonight a Times journalist (https://twitter.com/#!/DuncanCastles/) has claimed that Mourinho's going to be leaving Real at the end of the season to take up a position in the Premier League, and he has a lot of confidence in his source. Unsurprisingly, lots of people on Twitter are starting to speculate that this means we'll be saying goodbye to Fergie in May.

I want him to go to United but at the same time, I don't. My best educated guess is either Arsenal or Spurs.

Gah keep the man as far away from White Hart Lane as possible. Please.
|
|
|
Oh dear.
Also it'll be Mourinho to Arsenal, Wenger's going home.
Could be wrong though.
|

The Mourinho to United story is dead in the water if that's true to be fair.
If he was coming next year, It would have been more likely as the Fergie "3 more years" was meant to be a red herring to avoid all the hoo-ha like in 04 and he would have retired in 2013.
Can't see the Glazers wanting a loudmouth, arrogant, volatile manager. He'll have no qualms talking about not having a pot to piss in if he doesn't get his way.
He'll go to Arsenal, Spurs or Chelsea...or Liverpool .
United will get Moyes in a couple, with Fergie lurking in the background in a director-like role.
Moyes has record of working on tight purse strings and United will gradually fall off the pace.
*Optimist*.

I would be meh about Moyes, O'Niell would be more encouraging. Frankly it would be great if OGS turns out to be a super coach but that's based more on sentiment.
|
|
|
They don't care about sentiment, attacking football, encouraging to the fans managers or anything else. They want a company man. Some one who will tow the party line and reach their targets on a budget.
OGS is quality apparently. Supposed to be able to read the game better than most.
Needs to cut his teeth though.
Few more years at Molde, CL football etc. Maybe a few years at a decent foreign team, come to a mid table PL club, work up.

True, even Martin O'neill would be too much of a risk of speaking his mind I'd imagine.
OGS results so far have been top notch, you can't ask for better than winning nearly everything so far. But yeah, he'll need more experience first.
Speaking of Molde, Diouf is off to Hannover.

I'm going to savour this moment for the pure fact that there's pretty much a unanimous consensus in this thread for once. Isn't it nice?

All fans are fickle....some worse than others. Consensus.
I'm not arguing in this thread....this confuses me greatly. I'm going to shout at inanimate objects to normalise.
