you won't find any direct quotes - its more to do with the ideas, think about the people who are in Old Town - why they're there, what it would have been like for them - pay attention to what the Old Town's newest resident says - thats a big clue - you are dealing with the right verse though.
Another link is to do with why the Old Towners were in New Town - there's a reference to Old Town's sky which might help you.

Yep, thats pretty much that idea summed up - people who are condemned to live in New Town are separated from their families.
Yes there's another link *slaps with suitable metaphor* - its to do with starlight and what it serves as a metaphor for and why the Old Towners make the journey into New Town every night, despite the fact they're breaking the law, risking arrest, etc.

ok, "starlight" represents money, love, family - things people need and think they need. In Old Town the sky is a blanket of smog - there is no starlight - just like there's no family, love or money.
The Old Towners go to New Town to make money, see their loved ones, etc - in their own way they're "chasing a starlight"
Other ideas from all the songs will crop now and again as the story continues making some ideas clearer and introducing new ones so don't worry if you don't see the link straight away.

ok next part, I've finished the first paragraph, and no you can't have a preview The more thought I put into this chapter the longer it potentially gets - I need to fit a lot in and get him out of the blackhole and into a state suitable for Soldier's Poem (which I already have big plans for, lets just say that soon everything is going to change - something big is gonna happen ;) )
