^ That's recommended reading! I agree, I like the name Charles.

And here's something to watch, Kimi on Top Gear teasers, he is very funny : http://www.lotusf1team.com/Some-Say-He-s-Made-Entirely-of-Ice.html?lang=en

What sucks most about the whole Sky/BBC deal is that I can't get Sky over here . So I either get the brilliant BBC coverage, or awful Dutch RTL with commercial breaks.

In total agreement. Was very slick and very professional. I know what channel I'll be watching the races on now!

McLaren front row, and GROSJEAN! Grosjean!! Seriously, where did that come from?

So happy that Vettel was outqualified by Webber. And disco dan in the top 10!

Just in case anyone is waiting for 2pm BBC broadcast.

So disappointed at Kimis result, he should have been somewhere near Grosjean! But Grosjean on P3, that's brilliant! That must mean the car is quite good. And considering Kimi's experience in F1, he should be better than Grosjean... .
Can't wait for the race tomorrow.

Ferrari looks awful by the way, Massa didn't get through to Q3. And Red Bull not looking as comfortable as last year, that's good . Hopefully there won't be one dominating team this year. Unless it's Lotus . And well done McLaren, the car with the normal nose is fastest.

Who got up then? Really enjoyed the race, so many small battles right through the field. The cars didn't seem so stretched out either, which was nice. Good result for Kimi - maybe a one stopper like Perez could have worked wonders! Button did exactly what Vettel does so well - maybe we have a genuine title challenge this year!

I watched it this morning but I'm watching it again now. Button was immense; didn't dominate in the same way Vettel did last year but such a supreme performance. Surprised by the pace of the Williams but not surprised at Maldonado, deary me.

Perez is the man though. 2 years he's done that at Melbourne now!

I did get up, but had nowhere to go during the commercial breaks (yeah really), so we missed Petrov failing and the start of the Safety Car period. And I don't know where Kovalainen went.

Watching it again now on the BBC. Very happy with Kimi's result, but I have to see what happened during that last lap, Perez was in a great position, and then suddenly Kimi was in front of him, I really don't know what happened there! They should have focussed more on the Raikkonen vs. Sauber fight, it looked brilliant.

Shame about Grosjean, hope he has more luck next race.

As far as I know, perez went into the back of Rosberg but I'll have to see again, it was mayhem!

Just seen it again, I still don't know what happened! Maldonado crashed and Rosberg had a problem, then Perez lost a lot, and Kimi and Kobayashi won.

That was a good race, especially for the last points. Stoked for Ricciardo, it could of been much better for him.

What a great race. Can't believe Perez was on to win that but 2nd is amazing!

Kimi's doing the job too since returning. strangely pleased for him.

Perez was very impressive! And going off 5 laps before the finishline, I thought he wouldn't make it. Alonso first is a surprise as well, the Ferrari and the Sauber aren't podium cars.

I hope Kimi can get a podium this year, the car looks quite good. Grosjean should stop crashing.

I'm re watching the race on BBC now, does anyone know which races the BBC will broadcast live? I can't find a list.

Edit: never mind, found it.

what a cracking race.. and i have to say im impressed with the Sky coverage (no i dont work for them!)

superb to see Fernando on the top spot when his car is not even worthy of a top spot.. but it was the leaders' race to lose, and lose they did!

well impressed with Perez, he probably should have won but the team talk advising him we need the points probably got him a little un-nerved.. hence the going wide.. he will go far!

Ive come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and im all out of bubblegum.

He nudged Karthikeyan and had to get his nose changed, then he took an unscheduled pit stop cause he couldn't get his tyres to work. Vettel got a puncture right at the end too,

Rain, and then breaking his front wing shortly after a safety car put paid to his chances.

I'm completely on Karthikeyan's side. Vettel and Hamilton should be in a team together. In Nascar or something, where they can drive into each other and where I never have to see them again.

I hate the attitudes of some of the drivers in the main teams. They just see backmarker's as people who shouldn't be there and that they should always get out of the way even if they're fighting for position.
