I would heartily recommend Fleming and John - Muse were recommended to me after I tried to interest my friend in Fleming and John, and I can see why now.

Try the "The Way We Are" album only do it slowly because her voice takes a bit of getting used to - not as heavy as Muse but lots of brill vocals and eastern bits. Also the lyrics are cool.

Fleming and John's version of Eldorado by ELO is transcendendant.
