The front did get kind of messy . Me and some friends were all cozy in the 2nd row until the start of the first encore. That's when it got kind of crazy and I gave up fighting for my place and dropped back to maybe 5th or 6th row where it was even crazier.

Best songs were...

DES because it separated the fans from the anti-fans. SOME of us knew the words and were dancing away. SOME people were standing dumbfounded going "duhhh, i never heard this one before!"
(Of course there may have been some fans without internet access or who haven't heard of it yet)

BLACKOUT because of the mobileo phones and the soppy sentimentalness of it all as you held the hand of your partner/drunken freinds and sang along.

my favorite was, and always will be TSP though. that kicked arse, or as matt would say "that was fucking proper, rock an' roll!"

Or maybe there were fans who weren't obsessive enough to learn the lyrics to a song that they played once or twice abroad? I don't know the lyrics to "A Crying Shame" yet, does that make me an anti-fan? Or just not a groupie?

Hey hey hey!!! chill out!

It's a muse song. They're my favorite band and I wanted to learn the lyrics, that a problem?! Just because the song has only been played once or twice doesn't make it inferior to their other work. I'm still gonna learn the lyrics.

In my previous post I meant that some people were there for TIRO and PIB and didn't know any other songs. Anyway, There were loads of other people singing along to it as well. So I wasn't the only one who knew all the words. In fact I think you'll find the majority of people who went knew the words too.

And it doesn't make you an anti fan! Anti fans slag muse off. I'm not suggesting I am a bigger fan than other people in any way just because I know more lyrics. How petty is that?!. It just ticks me off when people put down my favorite band.

And don't you DARE suggest I am a groupie. I'm a fan. There's a difference. I wouldn't sink that low.

Yes, the front was messy.
Person next to me collapsed, had to help other people over the barrier, incredibly bruised ribs now. but it was all worth it. God nows how i managed to stay there.

Haha! Fantasbulous and brillianto! I didn't expect them to play DES. When he started the riff I was like. "no fucking wayy!!!" and went even crazier.

But, does knowing the words to this little played song make us obessed groupies? I think not.

HA! sorry, thats the best thing I've heard all night.

Mmmm, It's hard for some people to define the line between "passionate" and "Obsessed." frankly I don't care which you must catagorise me in. They mean the same thing. I had my hand on my heart in "SIng for absoloution" like it was sone crazy national anthem. Began crying in Blackout but I'm allowed to because I'm a puny little woman.

Gah! I am NOT a groupie. that's so offensive. If I happened to spot matt in the street I'd say Hi and ask for an sutograph, not try to bed him. You shouldn't fancy someone for what they are onstage.

Stockholm Syndrome was AMAZING (as well as all the others). Phoned up my mate for her to listen to SS - BAD idea as I was in the front messy part of the pit and tried to not break my phone...

I agree that Ruled By Secrecy was amazing. It vexed me that the people in front of me complained that it was 'boring' and 'they should play the fast stuff'.

And i have to confess to crying during Microcuts. I love that song and i'd never seen it live before.

Everything about the night was amazing. It was cool that they used the robot in Muscle Museum again, they didn't do that on the sunday.

it was really really amazing... it was better than the 19th...
even i let me pull out during hysteria... but i wasn't enjoying it at all anymore...there was just my head sticking out, i didn't manage to breathe and i couldn't see what was ahppening on stage...
outside i nearly fainted and a guard took me to 1st aid...

that made me miss TSP and half of S4A... damn!!!
and it seriously pissed me off to see all the people at the back just standing there with their drinks, not even moving, when i went back...

anyway, i think mky fav song that night was ruled by secrecy... it was the 4th i heard it live, and it gets more massive and impressive with every time that i hear it!!!
i nearly cried!!!
i also nearly cried when blackout was played...
it's horrible, i wanted to cry soooo much... but, even if i'm a girl, somehow, i can't cry.....

but it remains, i think, one of the best nights i ever had in my whole life!!!
