I remember when the promo absolution album came out and it was selling for 12£ at eil.com or even less, i don't remember.
I agree with Sam, there is too much people with too much money/time in their hands

I have a question guys: i'm only missing the supermassive black hole dvd, where i can find it at a fair price? Thanks

I have an Absolution promo CD but it came without the shield bag so I got it pretty cheap.

And Nick, I'd recommend Amazon.co.uk, they have it there for £4 new.

On Ebay, some german company keeps adding really nice vinyl's and promo's, but the prices they are chargin are ridiclous. £40 for hyper music vinyl, I think not!!

Oh yeah I've seen them around. They have some awesome stuff but charging £100 for a Japanese Acetate SMBH Promo CD is waaaaay too much.

Thanks so much Phil!
Today i was at a Used/new cd records and dvds convention and i found the New born promo clear cd with the 2 remixes (newburn + timo mass remix of sunburn) and New born radio edit.

I bought it only for the radio edit and it's in brand new conditions, paid 7 euro....i think it's a equal price for it, isn't it?

Oh yeah 7€ is a real bargain when it comes to Promo CDs. Nice find Nick. ^^

I got myself the Showbiz EPK VHS and a Muscle Museum (US-Mix) Promo VHS aswell.

Sadly, Niall was a better sniper than I was for the Promo VHS with the three TV shows from 2000.

I bought the EPK for £38 and well...if there're three shows on the other VHS then intrinsecly, there's three videos on it.

Hopefully Niall'll be kind enough to rip it and make it available. ^^

I wish it was the Japanese one, but it's the Australian tour edition. Bonus CD with 6 tracks of their BDO set from 2004.

Then yeah original, and CD/DVD.

I have a question on Absolution album.

The special edition with the making of DVD has a different cover art, but does the German version have a different cover art? Because I bought a special edition, and it has the same cover art and is German because of the Record label Motor.

i may be completely wrong though

I own the Special Edition with a DVD and the cover's the one that's on most CDs which is this one:

Now it seems the Australian ReRelease has an alternative cover, same for the Vinyl which has the little girl.

It seems all Japanese releases whether promos or not seem to go for high prices. It costs £30+ for a JP release of BHaR.

I saw the other day, the origin of symmetry album, completely the same, but the front cover art work was a painting called origin of symmetry... kinda odd looking painting with lots of geomertical shapes and stuff.

Never ever seen it before anywhere. and had no idea what it was.
Just wondered if anybody on here knew what it was

nightlife-boy is a german rip off sometimes. It's sad that they're selling promos for such high a price. I wouldn't ever pay that much for a promo like that.

And Jo, do you happen to have a link I could have a look at?

Plus the company that is selling this, has really high prices, just look at some of thier vinyl's. £30+ for Sing For Absolution vinyl, shop around and you could be lucky and get it for half of that. (That's what I did).

EDIT: You beat me to it Phil.

Could be a fake or the seller wanted to add something different?

I dunno tbh.
PS

I won a B&H single on ebay which usually goes for £20ish and I won mine for £3.20, an absolute bargain, unless others didn't bid because they saw something wrong with it which I didm't see

EDIT: Nightlife Boy annoys me, they sometimes take up a whole page on ebay with overpriced items like vinyls, promos and a lot of singles go in the £15 mark. grrrr

Does anyone know if there is a difference between the original OOS Japanese release and the UK one (apart from the obi strip..)? It it worth adding to a collection?

Same with absolution...

If you want the bonus track then yes, but i'm not going to ever because I bought the singles with the bonus track as a B-side, its cheaper.

EDIT: I've spotted another thing, did Naive publish S4A single at all, mine is but it doesn't say so on musewiki.
